Just within the first quarter of the year, we have seen a massive spike in price value of btc, by mid year, i am predicting a new ATH of above 80k. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Bitcoin is the #1 unpredictable asset in my opinion. Tell me if you'd ever believe anyone telling you that bitcoin would climb from $5k to $50k within a year, because I wouldn't! I'd think that it's just another bullish article-site that wants some traffic and has ran out of ideas.

Predicting how many dollars a bitcoin will worth in this year, assuming you mean ATH, then I would say above $90k, just like it did with $9k. I have no idea when will this happen, but I believe that this will be a really good summer.

That is on you when you miss the opportunity to sell at a high price and then the next day the prices go down dramatically. I am not saying that it is bad to not sell at a high price, what I am saying is bad is when someone passes up on the opportunity. To me, $150k is not the end game too but if it ever goes past that point, I wouldn't be greedy as to wait for an eventual drop in the prices.

When you need to sell it really depends on you. About the price, no one can tell you where it will reach this year. Either it would go up or it would be down as well. If you ask me when I sell then I will say when I need money. I sell for my personal needs, doesn't matter what is the price, but of course, I do not sell all Bitcoin except take a short on the trading. If you have a targeted price to sell your Bitcoin then you should convince yourself as well that price wouldn't touch since we can't forecast the price.

Hard to say what will be the top price, but people are seeing a spike to 5 digits this year.

When to sell? depends on you, ask your self if you really need to cash out in this massive bull run. Will you need fiat? or you are planning to reinvest after it goes on market correction?

But majority won't sell their stash because bitcoin demand are going to grow in the next 2-3 years as adoption is spreading and institutions are joining the hype train.

So far I've been way off in my predictions and almost always predicting the lower price than it was, so I'll continue in the same manner and say that topic this year might in the 100,000 USD area. Hopefully I'll be wrong again and BTC goes up way more. But if not, still good as it is means we have time to to acquire more BTC for ourselves money. Win win situation I would say.

To answer your question in the title, I think that people should only sell if they really need the money, otherwise otherwise they hodl is the way to go, no matter what the top will be this year.

If we reach $100k it's just the tip, after that we will go on a bearish for sure, but then again, after that it will go up again. So personally, I'm not selling at those price, waiting for more in the next 4 years.

Do not listen to anyone that makes a prediction and claim that it is 100% correct.... because NOBODY know what the price will be in the future. It is like saying that you will know what the weather will be in 1 year from now. 

There are simply too many things that can happen that can influence the "Supply & Demand" for coins to make a accurate future prediction. Yes, some people can say...." If PayPal open it's merchant network ...the Bitcoin price can go to $100 000 " .....but what happens if something negative happens at the same time? (Like the US government implementing VERY strict Crypto currency regulations for instance.) 

Bitcoin is a high risk investment and a very volatile Currency ... so be careful.

No one knows how high it could get we are only at February so there are still plenty of time for it to move however it likes.
If we tell you to sell it at $80K right now would you sell it at that price even when it does reach that point the bull market is still having a strong uptrend?
Of course you wouldn't so what's the point of asking now when we don't even know how it would be in the future?

I strongly believe Bitcoin will show us $150k in the August of this year. The amount of investment flows is increasing day by day, price is growing and the community keeps expanding. All these facts make me believe Bitcoin will still keep delighting us in the next half of the year at least.
