Hi all, hope all is well!

Let's start discussing the latest news with the updates if possible... I live in Turkey and there is no update that I can reach for now.. After the peak about 10 hours ago, XRP is going down. Should I keep and buy more at a lower price or should I let it go?

ps:

- Unfortunately, I have fired because of that covid **** 5 weeks ago and I m trying to survive with my compensation until I got a new job.
- I am not talking about thousands of $ for buying.

Please let me know your thoughts about the expectations in the future like 2-3 weeks in both scenarios positive/negative for Ripple.

Cheers!
It is not an investmemt advice but i think xrp is very bullish because SEC has a weak case and there are high chances that xrp will come out of this situation and once it does it will moon in no time so perhaps it will be worth the risk in the end.

Better to stay away from Ripple as for now because it's not only about SEC lawsuit as Jed McCaleb which was to be a co-founder of Ripple, is now selling off his all XRP tokens and that's why Ripple can't be able to pump back to it's previous position. But it might be a good choice to buy a small part from OP's portfolio to be safe and make profits if everything is sorted out, IMO.

It is your own decision that no one else will advise you to invest in xrp right now. Because now it is very risky to invest in xrp in this situation. The SEC case has created this situation so that there is now distrust among investors about xrp.
If you are a trader then you can trade with market movement by buying xrp for a short time, by doing this you can also make profit from xrp.

But planning to make a long-term investment in xrp can lead to a big mistake. If you become more interested in re-investing in xrp just because of top marketcap, that would be a very bad decision.

A statement was made that the SEC is trying to gain access to documents from 2013, which, according to the SEC, should confirm that the XRP cryptocurrency is an unregistered security.

But the creators of Ripple do not share these documents for confidentiality purposes. Ripple's lawyers filed a petition to close the case, and stated that
their customers have never even assumed that XRP is a securities or investment contract. So Ripple still has a chance to take the lead again.  Roll Eyes

Former SEC chairwoman Mary Joe White told Fortune magazine that the commission she once chaired was wrong in this case.

Also, current Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse claims that only 5% of Ripple's customers are in the United States and that freezing the company's operations in the United States will not harm the network as a whole.

According to the latest news in the media, I don't think things are as bleak as they seemed at the beginning of the trial.

At the end I think it will be the same like with tether same kind of decision. I personally don't own any ripple but I think at the end it will all be fine.
It would be great if everything would be fine, because that's what most people expect, but for now I don't think it's so bad to have an XRP token either, because the token is still alive and moving in the market even though the price changes aren't the difference is much.
And I think it does not impact on the use case of ripple, as it was functioning earlier, it will keep the same way. Only the perspective had changed and legality of the ripple has come under scrutiny which although looks far from solved and closed, but should do too much harm to the coin.

But keep an eye because if other exchanges start removing ripple trading from the exchanges, it might actually cause problems to the price and value of the coin. I never judge a token or a coin by its price but if exchanges start removing a coin, the value drops too along with the price.

I heard a news recently that MoneyGram removed Ripple pact over the SEC lawsuit which I am not sure what it means because I haven't used MoneyGram but it seems like another bad news.

I hope the OP will consider other project other than ripple. Because right now, XRP's future is not so clear. And if he is using his savings, because he said, he's looking for new job. Why not invest like in eth or btc? Because eth may grow in the coming months as they address the issue of gas efficiencies. But with ripple, it depends on how they will resolve things with SEC, and there's no timeline yet for this.
