thats right, but its very easy to said, but very hard to do, especially for new people mate
because when the price down, just like now, a lot of new people scream if they lost their money
but, the fact they never lost their money if they still hold and not sell their assets in lower price right ?

Both patience and luck can work perfectly, especially if the market can rise again after it was down a few days ago. Most of these dead coins went to me as payment for the work done in the bounty in 2017. Almost all of these coins have already been abandoned by the developers and there will be no positive movements on them. There are many factors involved and especially i will give weightage to luck because you never know which coins will be the winners and which will be dead. I am also mostly a longterm holder so i like to give projects good time to prove themselves and i have earned profit but sometimes it turns out to be the other way roumd.

It's great if you have good patience to hold your coins for years, to those who always buy on low and wait for years until new ATH reach will surely wins. Holding that much I'm believe it's hard if there's some emergency case so like or not we should use our investment to solve that case.

The funny thing is, there is really no other option as well if you want to make money and some people prefer losing money over waiting. That is the real trouble with the market, I remember back in 2017, some people got bitcoin at nearly 20k price, and when it reached to 10k they sold it, and I have zero clue why they did that.

Sure there could be few people who needed the money for life emergency that was unexpected, that always happens, I had to sell some coins in those situations as well and it was bad, but I really do not get that why would anyone be fine with losing 50% and just moving on? Waiting and eventually profiting is the only way to get out of loss, you could also buy more and more from lower levels so that you could make a profit easier and quicker, but selling will never be the solution yet some people still do it without any logical reason.
