Hello, I am a 18yo old kid looking to talk to someone that is knowledgeable in building and launching a crypto or has had experience in the past. I became interested in crypto and would say i'm decently knowledgeable but I would love to pick the brain of any doyens that are willing to talk. If you have been in the space for a while or would just like to talk my Discord is 6ix#0983 and my telegram is @Nick6ix, Thanks.

What will learn from launching your own Currency? Do you think it is easy to create cryptocurrency and convince people to use/buy it?
Instead, find a problem in your community, improve yourself, and try to devise a solution to that problem, you will gain more from creating a digital currency.
And if you are looking to invest, then get money, learn to trade and invest in Cryptocurrency (50% Bitcoin, 20% ETH, 20% top10 Altcoins, 10%others.)

Compared with other software projects you could start, a cryptocurrency in the classical sense will often be costly to interface with other related projects (cryptocurrencies). So, convincing someone to use yours will often involve also convincing him not to do whatever you want to do on another (more proven) cryptocurrency. This alone makes the cases where it makes sense to create a new cryptocurrency very rare.

You might also compare the number of ANN threads on this forum with the number of cryptocurrencies that are of any relevance as of today to get an idea how hard it is to come up with an idea worth to implement.

If you have good arguments for why your project is worth doing despite of what was said before, I guess it should be easy to find someone with the necessary experience.
