I had a gemini account, but changed phone numbers and now cant complete 2 factor authentification. so I signed up with kraken. but certain things I dont like about it.

So, what are my next options? preferably, lower fees, allow ach transfers, and they allow trading of Dogecoin and BTT and other smaller cryptocurrencies.

SHORT VERIFICATION TIME IS NECESSARY because i feel like after this even out after this current trough, which could be just a day or a few, now would be the best time to invest.

You've probably only got Coinbase as a good alternative since you're from the U.S. The downside is that they don't support the coins you mentioned.

found cex.io and its actually better than gemini, 1 hour identity verification, has more coins available than most others, and imo has a better interrface so far than binance or gemini.

I have NO idea why everyones so stuck on binance.. either gemini or cex.io are better in most every way

It is because Binance is very reliable and has got a lot of coins listed. But for the US residents, you have limited coins and that's why there's a dedicated domain for US residents that has been made by Binance which is Binance.us.

But outside US residents and eligible users that can enjoy Binance, you cannot blame them if they're all stuck in Binance if they're enjoying the usage of it.

Binance US is the right choice for you, but with some coins that are not listed in the US due to violation of US regulations such as XRP which is no longer on the Binance list of coins due to SEC issues, there are also several other coins. However, small transactions such as BTT and DOGE can still be done smoothly. If you ask about verification, you don't need to do KYC if your transaction is still below 2BTC, because Binance provides a maximum of 2BTC transactions for new users who haven't done KYC. Binance is the best exchange right now and is certainly safer and most importantly available in the US with many other smaller cryptocurrencies.

Kraken UI is archaic but it's one of the best exchanges around.

A valid option for you is Coinbase Pro - they are open for U.S. citizens, but the trading pairs are separated by GEO.

BTT? There is no coin or token with the ticker as BTT. Is it a typo from you? Do you imply about BTC (bitcoin)?

I advise you to use this tool to find a trading platform. With the help of this tool, you can filter the exchanges according to the desired criteria and choose the most suitable one.

Was going to recommend an exchange until I read to point you said you’re in the US, most exchanges don’t work in the US. So, I guess the best option you have now is Coinbase , but you wouldn’t be able to trade Dogecoin there, just some other altcoins.

Maybe you will have to look into decentralized exchanges or P2P to be able to trade those particular altcoins, that’s if you really understand how these exchanges works, because they can be really hard to understand when you get on their at first, telling you from experience, because they don’t look like the normal centralized exchanges, just like Coinbase, which are easy to access. You can still research, and I think Kraken will have that, though I haven’t used it, so can’t be 100% sure.

Because of users' experience. Binance almost meets the perfect criteria of exchange. You don't need to say that everyone is stuck on Binance.

If your experience in Gemini or Cex.io is way better then I think you can research on your own about the exchange you are looking for.
