Why ETH dropped 20% from the high peak? Anyone knows?

Not only Ethereum suffer a price decline but also other altcoins in the market. We can't control the market value since when it reaches a high peak price others would choose to take profit. If bitcoin will also bounce to increase ethereum will follow. So I’m just holding my ethereum as I believe we will see another ath.

I feel that eth can take a long time to get back to its old price because the first reason is still bitcoin, bitcoin was surprisingly dumped, just yesterday, I even thought it would return $ 30000 but luckily, that didn't happen, the market has kicked off the next green, holding hope for those who can't liquidate soon. However, this could also be a way to push more people into buying again and a subsequent dumping, besides this problem, the whale was too excited to pump and made eth overpriced, network costs have become expensive, many users are starting to withdraw from eth, that could be the main reason for the very strong eth drop

I still think ETH can't go up all because of the gas fee, sure it could still go up a bit but the gas fee is something totally different, we are talking about insane gas fee's right now and as long as that is not fixed (which will be by July) we are not going to see super high prices. While that happens here, people put their money into other things, they are super excited about the potential of those coins and they go up, while BNB went up so much during this period ETH was going up only a slight bit. This is why I think ETH needs to keep grinding to make that fee smaller, otherwise it is not going to go up too much.

By the way the current price is still quite good, as long as it stays around at 1.5k+ price that is still good enough for it to be second ranked coin for a long long time, not like anything else comes even close to it, even with a pumped up price.

I noticed that one of the characteriatics of thereum and bitcoin is when they reached their all time high, few days later its market price value will decrease for atleast 10%-15%. It happens in both top coins, what will be the possible reason why this is happens most of the time?

The moderately dump in the price of the Bitcoin and ETH within the 10-15% was really the characteristics of the whole crypto market when we're in a bullish momentum market (which is called a market correction) and the reason why it happens is to open the door for a new buy low opportunity and also strengthen the market.

I see, it looks like a clearance for price value and gives opportunity for the low end or small time buyers. But how it strengthen the market of crypto?

Yes, it opens another opportunity to buy low and sell high for market opportunist and short/long term investors. It also strengthens the market because it chases out the weak hand off the market once the weak hands panic sell the major holder or investors will be people that entrust their investment on the market momentum.

It can be a time to accumulate more BTC and altcoins knowing that there are institutions who already invested in crypto others might follow soon and jsut waiting for their desired price to drop for them to join in, correction usually happens whenever the price went too high suddenly and since crypto skyrocketed since the start of the year it is normal to expect that the price can still experience decline unless there are news that can cover up the correction happening.

It is not just ETH that had a huge surge in the past several months, the entire market was having a good time and all the investors had a wonderful time look at their fat profit and now we are seeing a minor correction in not just ETH alone but the entire market is going down. In the past the bitcoin and the altcoin market were not having similar rallies but now the market has changed as both the coins are rallying at the same time and we are seeing correction at the same time.

Get used to it when you are into this market because those kind of drops are quite common and this market is unpredictable so its just normal to see these movements.
If you are just new into this market then you would really be surely shocked but once you do get yourself used to it then you would definitely be seeing this as casual
volatility this is why you should really be careful on dealing with crypto investment.Always take caution on when to enter and on when to get out.

There is working a psychological pressure, so regret of not selling at the top very common in this industry. We don't know how long this correction would realistically last. Here's the truth, many altcoins haven't made ATH yet. It's better waiting the pull back.

Maybe strengthen market because the trading volume is kinda high therefore it might reflect that the buy and sell order are on its peak too but honestly that have a little thing to do with the market strength. If the market cap grows bigger the market will be stronger aswell, so therefore eth dumping shouldn't be considered as strengthening the market.

It usually happens for everyone, I guess so. I wouldn't find my luck with the altcoins that haven't made their all time high, I'm sticking to bitcoin and Ethereum just for this bull run. I've got other altcoins but they don't really matter at all.
Unlike the others, they are finding their luck with those and thinking that it can break at and will surpass the other altcoins that have made their ath.

if you can answer that Bitcoin reason of dumping , from 58,000 down to 43,000$ then maybe i can answer yours?

Market is falling down so expect the value of each coins as they are most all dependent in what Bitcoin movement is.

But ETH is a coin that has no strong position , not like other coins that has been pumping too much while now ETH is not that good and always delay in running good.

Maybe in a week or 2? we can see some growth again but don't expect too much.

I am not surprised by the correction taking place in the crypto market, because fluctuations are nothing new in the crypto market. In these 2 days it's not only Ethereum that has experienced a correction, most of the coins experienced a very drastic drop in price, including Bitcoin. People who already understand the movement of cryptocurrency are already preparing themselves to face a correction, because when the correction occurs they will buy to get a profit when the market price has returned to improvement.

Not only eth but also all the coins/token crashed more than 20% in last few days except only rear project. So don’t take it for only eth. The main reason of dump is btc price fall. And this normal for altcoins when btc made some high % price movement. so wait patiently.

It happens on most of the coins that reached their ATH. If you will check the trend of bitcoin, it happens also. Few days hitting ATH high around $58k, the market price declined until now. Some experts said that the purpose of it is to give chance to those small scale investors and also it is one of the characteristics of crypto market especially when we are in a bullish momentum market or in other term "market correction".

We don't know much about trading, one of which is the influence that big players have. if the big traders have already made trades, they can take control of the situation. whether they will raise prices or vice versa. but this is just my assumption

This is what we called manipulation, it's happening although we are just speculating it, but by judging on how volatile the price is, it looks like whales are still in control in the market although people say that institutional investors have already joined the game.

Always been like this when it comes to dumps or even talking with price pumps where manipulation can really be so obvious.Is there something we can do? None right.?

Instead of talking about manipulation, getting rid of it will be impossible because there would always be big players who are on the field and with having that financial
capacity then its normal that they would really have the edge anytime on what are the things they had do have in mind.

Price could shoot or dump 20% in no time and we have seen lots of similar scenario back in the past.
