 are you using a hdmi to hdmi cable

try the display jack on the miner to an hdmi monitor

the display plug goes into the gpu

the hdmi into the monitor

boot 2 times in a row. hard cycle boots.  walk away and come back in 30-45 minutes. make sure you are internet connected.

I am curious. What is a 43 code error? I have noticed that it is often mentioned. Also, I got an offer to buy cheap a few cards with that error.
Is it a hardware or software error?
whether it appears on all type of cards AMD & nVidia?
IS it possible to be fixed?
Is that error reflected only on windows or on any OS?

I can't really say if it's hardware or software related issue, I'm also familiar with that error code on radeon vii and users said they got the error after gaming or intense use like mining, this is the first time I'm seeing a RX5700XT with error43 code

No new gpu will bring error code 43 without been ruggedly used before, I'm guessing you buy used and at pretty lower price online? You have to return and get your money back if you still can, that gpu is probably dead

code 43 is bad hardware.. maybe bad riser?

code 43 has about nine or ten things that can be it.

it does mean some mechanical thing is not working.

May be the gpu
may be the gpu hdmi jack
may be the riser if you have a riser
may be the pcie slot.

if it is the pcie slot could be that the slot is shared with a sata port and your hdd/ssd/nvme.2 has priority
could be a bios setting that has disabled the slot.

could be some other thing.
windows does it more often than linux software.

if someone tried to bios mod the gpu it could be soft bricked, on panda miner discord gpupeasant put unlocked rom for gigabyte rx 5700 rev2
