you are in hurry to declare the bear market even bear market is not confirmed yet I would say its only a market correction Its good to know you booked your profit and quit the trades or sell your holdings with profit and now you are expecting a huge bear trend but the market never behaves the same way year by year. 2024 is quite far and traders can not be away from the market for a long time they always find a way to make money.

Why 2024? What made you so sure that things are going to be ok and profitable in 2024, if you are true Cryptocurrency investors and interested in making a profit you will not take a very long vacation, the market is very dynamic things can change in a matter of weeks, you can lose and you can make a  profit within 24 hours to a week, Cryptocurrency is the most exciting investment market that is why it is institutions and big investors are coming in, there is a gold mine and you will miss it by taking a very long vacation.

I am not sure if the bull market is gone as bitcoin can increase again and the altcoin season is not over. Many altcoins still try to lift the price slowly following of bitcoin price movement, so I think that we still have more time to see the altcoin season will come to the market. But that is your decision if you want to quit the crypto market and enjoy your profit. I am sure you can come back to the market anytime you want, but I hope you can be ready when you come back because I am sure the situation will not be the same.

Fiat money is being printed left and right. I don't think the bull market is over. Unless you need the money for a purchase it will lose value if you keep it in fiat or try to save it in a bank account.

How can you lose Fiat value if someone keeps it in a bank? Isn't the value of each country's currency determined in the rules of each country? So how can the value just disappear without any other effect?

The buying power goes down because of inflation. In USA for example the dollar has lost 90% or more of it's value since 1913.

So $10,000 in 1914 was worth the equivalent of $267,979 in 2021.

Savings interest is almost zero. So if you leave $10,000 in a savings account at a bank it will not grow much. And 3 years from now (2024) that $10,000 will not be able to buy as much as it can today (2021).

Well we can't blame him for what he did, It's a normal trader's life to quit as long as he is going out with a profit it is fine. For us who experienced this scenario a couple of times, We can say that this is pretty normal in cryptocurrency to have a massive pump and dump during bullish and bearish season. At least OP has some plans coming back in 2024. The only thing that OP will regret coming back in 2024 is he failed to accumulate bitcoin on the accumulation phase and will certainly be active when it's on a bull run.

Personally, I would prefer to keep all the coins I have so far and wait for even better times for the crypto world. In my opinion, this is just the beginning of the acceptance of crypto and the future will be even brighter.

As for the current bear market, this is a good opportunity for new additional investment as prices fall.

I don't see any point in leaving cryptocurrency at all. Especially now, when such interesting events continue on this market. Even if bitcoin stops in its price growth, then this may serve as a reason for the start of the altcoin season. I've been expecting this for several years now.
In addition, you can earn and receive profit in any active state of the market. If you have time, then I see no reason why not use it profitably, including for your wallet.

People selling out of crypto never end up with the same amount. Less usually.

Those early adopters that had 10,000 BTC long ago sold it when BTC hit $100, $1,000, $10,000 etc. They bought back in only at inflated prices. Eventually you have companies like Tesla with deep pockets buying BTC at $30,000 and higher.

The people with diamond hands were laughing when BTC hit $58,000. But it is a risk because you just never know what will happen in the future. It would suck to own 10,000 BTC @ $58,000 and then it goes back down to $100 for some unknown reason. At some point you have to take some profits before you die. Can't take all the BTC with you to the grave lol!

Completely leaving the market and blindly saying a date 3 years from now might not be the best tactic.  If you want to go on the sidelines that's fine all good.  I would stay close and get ready to jump back in at some point if a new bottom has perceivably been hit.  Good thing to jump in little by little again at a later date and cost average your way back in.  Either way good luck to you.

Bull market might be gone as you have stated but don't forget that the market is all about trends. First it was ICO, then later it was preceeded by IEO that saw a lot of boom in centralized exchanges and later Decentralized finance that so a limelight through yearn finance and today look at what dex has bring into different projects and cryptocurrency it self.
Decentralized finance has birth more hundreds of great projects and there are many more to come as long as Defi is still hot.
There is likely emergence of another trends and you may loose out this opportunity instead I will advise you to stick to the market and enjoy the profits because trend is your friend.

After all we all make mistakes in our predictions and this could be the case and instead of making even more profits you are going to regret not coming back to the market to get even more gains, it is better that you keep watching the action and if for some reason you believe that your prediction was off the mark then you can come back.

I agree with you. I am also quit my investment. But it is still possible to make a profit by investing for a short time. The market is slowly going down so investing at this time is definitely risky. Because no one knows how many years after the next bull run and no one would like to wait that long.

At present no one can say which way the market will go and whether the bull market is going. It is not possible to get the information without analyzing the market properly if you leave now you will not be able to make any profit if the market goes up a lot in some time I don’t think the market will go down the price of currencies will rise again therefore, it is better to invest in small amounts there will be no risk and profit will be made. I think that 10000USD profit is very suitable for you to invest in Altcoin which has the potential in the future to be better than now. for example like Cardano, aorora, Btt and BNB.
