I wouldn't skimp on cables. In my opinion, 6/8pin GPU power adapters from SATA or Molex are the most common causes of problems due to poor connector quality and transient resistances. Use only dedicated 6/8pin PCIE cables and premium brand power supplies.

I can't say much about the cables in the picture, but they seem ok to me.
