Hi. Sadly I have more than 10k on a blockchain wallet (bad idea to have a wallet in hands of others...). For the login there is a 2fa that should sends a mail after every login where I need to confirm the login. Since over 1 week I dont receive these mails anymore. When I go to the help page and request the wallet ID (The lost my wallet ID option) I also dont get a mail (also after I created a new wallet with the same mail). If I try to reset the 2fa on the help page I got the error "Error resetting two-step authentication." What the hell? The Mails are not blocked (I whitelisted it). They are also not in my spam or something like this. And no am an Idiot and didnt backed up the 12-Phrase Recovery... I dont think that Ive got hacked because when I track the last incoming transaction I see that there is balance on my address and I think the hacker would immediately move all funds to his wallet. I opened more than 5 Tickets to the support and wrote that I have problems. A few of them were closed as "solved" without any response....ok whatever.... And for the other I didnt got a response since then (1 week). I only got 1 response of one ticket where they said that I requested a 2fa removal that will take 1 week till it will execute the task. So I waited and after 1 week (today now) I really received a mail with the message that the removal of the 2fa was completed. With full of happyness I tryed to login again to my wallet and sadly again I got the message "Authorization required. Please check your mailbox." and again got no mail. I found out that the reset was made for my other wallet I created with the same mail... Whats happening here? Is there anything I can do instead of giving all of my hope this 5 star support team that just need 1 year to response? Im pretty sure I cant but what can I do else than ask others for help? Hope someone can help me.

What do you mean when you say that you have that your wallet is in hands of others? If you have backup words than you can restore them in your own wallet like electrum or any other bitcoin wallet, and no need for any email or verifications. People say they never had any problems with web wallets until something like this happens.

This is your problem "didn't backed up the 12-Phrase Recovery" if you don't have them there's no other way to recover your wallet. Only blockchain support can help you with this issue. Can you try to login with their app you can download the app on both IOS and Android from here https://www.blockchain.com/wallet/android-appI heard someone solve his problem by logging in on Android and receive the email 2fa code. Let's hope that it will also work for you if not only support could help you with this issue.

I also had this problem in the past. do you use gmail or Outlook? because this problem happens a lot when the person uses Outlook email and it hardly happens when the person uses gmail, so I stopped using Outlook email and started using gmail to log into my blockchain.com account ...only support could help you with this issue. their support is very bad, it seems that they know nothing. I was even more nervous every time the support answered me, and worse Is that when they disable 2FA it takes time for the person to see that 2FA is really not working anymore, in my case it took 30 days to solve my problem so I stopped to use blockchain.com

What do you mean when you say that you have that your wallet is in hands of others?
He probably means that he has realized that trusting a custodial wallet with his funds was a bad idea as he doesn't even have any form of wallet backup. There have been various complaints about Blockchain.com's authorization emails not showing up. I still wonder why people don't back up their wallets or use other much better software wallets?

~~ there is nothing wrong with your email service provider because you are not alone facing this issue, lot of people having similar issues with no solution yet from the blockchain.com wallet's support system.
You have no other option than waiting for the response from their support team.

I dont think that Ive got hacked because when I track the last incoming transaction I see that there is balance on my address and I think the hacker would immediately move all funds to his wallet.
You can check your Bitcoin address on Blockchain.com itself or in blockchair.com to track the latest transaction and also to determine if your fund was still there. Then if it wasn't there, then you might get hacked and I'm presumably you might a victim of a fishing link instead of the official website of Blockchain.com. Back up seed phrase is very important, you can use this without using your email address and waiting for email verification, you can able to restore your fund in a new wallet, without this 2-word backup (recovery) phrase, you won't able to restore your wallet and I think you need to move on. I heard different and stories of this wallet, I don't think why there are newbies in crypto are keep falling on this wallet.

No, you have to contact blockchain and wait to address this issue of yours, its the only way you can do right now. Once your issue got resolved and got access your funds again, best to do is to move your funds from blockchain to other wallet which will give you full access of your funds and doesn't need email address for otp/confirmation in every login or something, you can use either electrum, trust wallet, mycelium, blockstream green to do this.

A few days back there were similar issues. Even I was unable to log in to my wallet. I just left it because there weren't any funds. And after few days it was fine and was able to log in. But seems nowadays many threads popping up with similar issues. That's the disadvantage of using a web wallet where you aren't the controller of your funds. Anyway, there is no option except to get support from them. But really worst support ever. Just try to explain them the situation and wait. Nothing more could be done except waiting. It is better to just move on to a noncustodial wallet.
Just be careful from scammers PMs, scammer would PM you to recover your wallet. Don't hand over your wallet credential to any scammers.

I am in the exact same situation, no one got HACKED - I mean there are people that are even bigger idiots that fell for phishing scams and whatnot, this isn't it. It also has nothing to do with your email provider.
I also did not keep my seed phrase because in the past I wasn't even using this wallet, stupid, and now that I am using it, the wallet is stuck, exact same situation as OP.
There is a good chance that they will get it working again but I guess there is also a chance that our wallets are gone. Due to something that happened with blockchain.com itself...

If you are totally sure the confirmation email didn't land on your spam folder and you have whitelisted them then there is nothing you can do but waiting for a reply from their support team. I believe the problem is at their end as many other members reported facing the same issue.

There is a good chance to solve it out if you can find the wallet's wallet.aes.json in your pc. It's an encrypted json file that has your private key. The encryption password is the same password that you use to login to blockchain.com. If you can find that file you can open a new wallet with the very same key and gain cotrol over your funds. Just be careful and don't share that password with anybody.

Assuming that blockchain.com provides me with my wallet.aes.json (supposedly they keep the wallets backed up on their servers) and I have my wallet ID and password, but not my seed phrase. What software would I use to open/decrypt the wallet? Wouldn't it still ask for email authorization? (Which I am not receiving)

(Which I am not receiving) Here's the tool to decrypt the wallet.aes.json https://github.com/blockchain/my-wallet-backup-decryption-toolHere's the guide how to use it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=594570.msg6527200#msg6527200After you get it you can import the password+wallet.aes.json file into https://login.blockchain.com/wallet/import-walletBut well, AFAIK you still need the email authorization to open the wallet. That's the problem, only Blockchain.com can solve it.

I've used this script - https://gist.github.com/fcicq/3368495 It will not ask for any authorization. After decrypting the file you'll have your wallet's private key so you'll be able to open it with another wallet software, like Electrum.

Thanks for the info, I do see on blockchain's website that they keep a backup of the json file (and I think I read about it here or on reddit that it can be requested) but since their support takes weeks to respond, I was wondering, if you or anyone else knows if this is true? Will they send me my backup wallet file? If it's to the same email on the account/etc. I don't have a copy myself.
