Entertainment with blockchain? I remember the LiveSeed project and the Viuly project which I had participated in they were doing things in this line. Viuly met a sad ending to its project but LiveSeed after a few years have been showing some signs of life.

Speaking from a customer point of view, mainstream markets are so widespread and customer friendly, that is has become difficult to raise a niche following of crypto projects let aside the government acceptance and legality of cryptocurrency.

The only alternate way to use crypto in them is allow buying subscriptions at the cost of crypto. But then again a middleman service will be there who will exchange the crypto to fiat which goes to the owners of the app.

This is where the problem begins. As you put in a middleman, they will have some commission, so you as a owner would have to raise the price to even out the costs and get a similar amount back in your pocket as other OTT services are getting. Not just OTT, but any other paid service where bitcoin is being accepted needs this middleman. Unless governments start accepting crypto as a usable currency, this problem will remain.

No one knows and The future is unpredictable and technology in the future would be so advanced to the point that no one can predict what would be the next innovation in the future, one thing that they make sure when creating a blockchain application is that they should make it a user-friendly, a system with a user-friendly feature is what many people are looking for, the Interface should also be good, that is the second things they need to consider as well.

As continuous innovations take place, more and more technological advancement will surely be made. When it comes to what will blockchain do in the future, there are surely a lot of possibilities like seeing it getting merged not only for the mode of payments but also in the field of entertainment. As of now, there are already plenty of games thay involves the use of blockchain technology and many are patronizing it considering the benefits and enjoyment they get from it. It's as if they are earning while enjoying at the same time which caused more attraction to those who don't want to experience boredom whilst working.

Agree. There will be a lot of usages in the future. Even at the moment, many applications have been made and implemented such as DeFi, NFT or other real life works. However, we are still far from the prosper utilization so I bet the world will be a much better place with blockchain

It can help in a lot of places just that we more or less are not aware of where it is being used. Many financial companies are using the blockchain technology for developing applications and running their systems. Gradually we might see the blockchain developers being a specific niche of software developers - currently the tech industry is seeing this change.

As we can see clearly the government do no oppose the use of this tech but they oppose the use of bitcoin. Meaning it will take the governments more time to decide what to do with the legality of bitcoin and crypto in general but they want developers of blockchain tech to start their work and to pursue this for future.

DeFi is a short form of decentralized finance, a blockchain based finance system. It is not an application but a use case. Yes it uses blockchain to mirror what the traditional finance system has been but calling it an application does not sound correct.
