Your title says "crypto", but you talk about blockchain, those are two very different things. Speaking of blockchain, it's actually not used in any serious project in any industry, cryptocurrencies are the only use case, and even then it's not fair to call them "a blockchain use case", because blockchain was created as a part of Bitcoin, it didn't start as some fundamental technology.

AI also suffers from people just throwing it at every problem hoping it will magically solve it, but at least it can show a great amount of achievements that are known by everyone - facial recognition, self-driving cars, speech recognition, management, marketing.

You shouldn't ask "what if we combine AI and blockchain", you should ask if there are problems that require both?

I think that in the crypto space there are already projects that are working on AI and Blockchain. While looking for information I came across Effect AI that offers its services in structuring data, machine learning training data and more.
It also has its utility token if we want to combine blockchain and crypto.

AI is a buzzword nowadays. This is driven mainly by the Google, Tesla and IBM, which have achived significant success. Google´s AI (Deep THought) has managed to beat the best GO player, just like IBM staged with Kasparov a "victory" for Deepblue to attract sales of their systems, except that Google´s achievement is most likely true.
Tesla is, in theory, near a level 5 automation in car driving. Not a small feat at all if it happens, and a strong competitive advantage even if other makers are deploying electric cars.

Blockchain is ok for maintaining data integrity of electronic data. AI is good for applications with branch decision making capabilities. One area the two technologies could eventually overlap is in the realm of security.

A blockchain might be utilized to maintain the data integrity and codebase of an IT security product. While AI might be utilized in the decision making aspect of the security app. This isn't necessarily a likely scenario. Operating systems already include measures for maintaining runtime integrity. AI also isn't necessarily reliable or predictable enough to accurately utilize admin permissions atm. It is possible someday we may see the evolution if progress and advancement occurs.

Another possible scenario is AI codebase eventually becoming integrated and standardized in many traditional apps and assuming a natural role in systems which currently utilize blockchains.

Personally I doubt we'll see AI included in sectors where gains in the technology are negligible and may not provide value in terms of risk versus reward. There are thousands of different scenarios in many areas people wish AI to fill. Pattern recognition in AI may not scale sufficiently to accurately respond to all those thousands of different circumstances. Which could lead to them not being preferred.

People are working quite hard with them in order to publish new products and enhance our life. In the previous century, we have seen many new technologies that were built separately but right now, they are functioning together in an outstanding way to make our life become a better place. Therefore, it is indeed that sooner or later, we will see the combination of Blockchain and AI, and it will not just a theory, there will soon be practical applications that can form our current world into something we have never seen before.

These things are being used for sure now a days , I have seen a lot of companies actually making trading bots and integrating the two sectors more and more while this can't be taken as a direct integration of these two societies but at the same time one can consider them way associated more than a web.

But I do think adding artificial intelligence in blockchain might not only be complicated but at the same time it would require a lot of upkeep with upcoming forks. We have still to see any news about any soft fork coming but that would mean that the whole bot would need an upgrade or reset, which would not only be very tedious task but also an expensive one.

I do think that technology will continue to adapt and integrate themselves and blockchain and AI might also have a good future ahead but for that we might have to analyze the current trading bots to see how it goes for the long term. It's too soon to make a judgement.

Both can be used to make automated systems for companies that do really need it. That's a good combination but I haven't seen a company adopted both of it.
It's just one for blockchain and one for AI. Both are being used as is without combination, in my understanding and never seen both applied to one system.

Blockchain stores encrypted data. AI enables analytics and decision-making from collected data. By these simple definitions, we can quickly tell they can work together. AI can definitely streamline data processing through a blockchain better than humans or standard computing can. With efficiency increased, we can eliminate many redundant steps in the process, thereby reducing the processing power required, possibly electricity, too. But that's just my assumed general idea.
