How do you Remove Negative Feedbacks given by other people

So back in the days i was trying to sell some bitcoins for other users , i got contacted by many people who tried to scam asking for btc first and refused to deal with any type of escrow provided by the website or offsite , now i checked the people who left me negative feedbacks and they are mostly banned or ended up with tons of negative feeds on their profile for scamming other users. although i ended up with the negative feedbacks they left on my profile , is there anyway of removing them since they are clearly fake?

Nah it doesn't matter. You may as well just ignore them if they're inaccurate I'm sure others will be able to work that out too.

The people who gave you a negative feedback are the same people who can remove them. You can't do anything else if they are not active anymore.

As mentioned above, only the person who gave you a certain feedback can remove it. You’d need each one to retract and decide to remove it, which frankly is unlikely after all this time. What’s more, going over the negative feedback you’ve received, only one or two account seems to be active recently, being the others inactive for months or years.

Now the negative feedback is currently under the "untrusted feedback", which some look at with more leniency than that provided by the "trusted feedback" (DT or the viewer’s customized trust network), and is a bit more hidden to the casual viewer. Nevertheless, anyone who reads the current feedback will likely get spooked by the accusations.

I can't see any trusted feedback in your profile, untrusted feedback wouldn't visible by default. So you shouldn't worry much about untrusted feedbacks. Doesn't matter they are scammer or feedbacks is false. But only he could remove the feedback who left it. Having false feedback by DT members something worth creating a thread on reputation. So other DT members would take a look, otherwise, it's not worth even create a thread.

Just exclude them from your trust by adding tilde (~) before username if you believe they left false feedbacks.

Isn't this a problem, the single fact that, the negative feedback on an account can be removed only by the user might be a cool option but then, in the cases of the users dismissal and should it be that, it was wrongly given or without due reason, there should be a way to undo this. Ether by applying to admin or some other higher power in the forum. That's in the case of the absence of a user due to ban in contrast to the inactivity of an account or user.

I don't see no negative trust on OP's account so, why worry?
Readily visible red tags is the one you should be really worried about because it's does a lot to your reputation.

Don't bother. Visit my trust page and use ;dt after the link then load the URL again. You will see lots of red feedback which are showing under untrusted section. In the forum who are active a little have those red feedback from untrusted users. If you do not have a red tag from those users then you have not achieved anything on the forum. So, stay proud :-P

Unfortunately trust is not moderated so don't expect mods to get involved in this. However, other members can help by excluding trust abusers from their trust lists and/or leaving counter feedbacks if needed.
But as long as those feedbacks aren't from dt members, they have no weight so you shouldn't worry too much about them.

You also leave negative trust feedbacks without any reference. You complain about fake feedback but you also leave them without a real explanation.
Also, this feedback from a member who knows how the trust system works, even if neutral says that you do not understand how it's work.

In the end, about removing neg. tags, you must ask members who leave them on your page. No one can help you with that except them.

If the current sender of negative feedback to you is not one of the DT, that feedback will not be displayed on your profile and other people cant see it without going further on your profile. However, if at any time one of these users is designated as DT, the feedback you receive will be shown as accurate feedback.

Use a ~ sign for exclude users who send you feedback at your trust setting. This will prevent you and users who don't trust the member from seeing any feedback that is displayed on your profile even if it come from DT. But other people will be able to see it if it is accurate feedback.

If you want to delete it permanently from your profile, then contact the sender of the feedback and ask him or her to remove it. It is the only way for you at this time.

This is not a solution. you give completely wrong instructions. If they distrust (add ~) some users, this does not mean that he hide or deleted his trust feedback. He did it only for himself and his view, which is not too important in all this. Then he will have the wrong picture about his trust rating because I, you and all other members still can see if red trust on his profile (of course we talking about all feedbacks from DT members).
So, your suggestion is okay if they want to think "Hey I am an honest guy", although we all see quite the opposite.

For admins to get involved, that means trust is moderated to an extent which is not the case. If a user receives a negative feedback with no valid reason, chances are the user who left the feedback would not be on any level of DT and if they get banned from the forum, then their feedback would remain untrusted, which is not readily visible to other members.
This is the most effective system, as any sort of moderation would require admins and mods to investigate and determine what feedback was right or wrong.
