Do you have Sign message on your old account ? because that is a strong proof that you really owned that account back then.

If you have some proof then this is not the section that you must try to win the account back,
Bes to put post in Reputation section so your old account will; be tagged first for others safety from the new owner.

and Follow this thread for further action for account recovery

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0

Hope you'll find answers from there.

I don't think that's enough proof to claim back your account but try to follow what above post says , there is a recovery process for this.

If you mind me asking , what is the rank of your original account that has been hacked?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just to remind you that this will took long battle before you finally win the claiming of you have completed the needed things.
I do have the email that someone had sent to reset the password AND change the email address AND I have the email address it was changed to. Does that help? My old account was a full member with over 600 posts. I also had messages with my various coin addresses that Im trying to find again. I emailed support last week but I havent gotten a response Sad
Your account was active in 2019 but you claim that you didn't made any post since 2018 so first you need to find do you have access to any of cryptocurrency address used before 2018 to prove the ownership until that you can get a red tag to that account and make sure the new owner can't use it for financial benefits.
Move to meta for further discussion.
Here is the thread where you ca find everything that you need in account recovery
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0
but the most important thing is this
Quote
If your account was hacked
Email recoveries...@bitcointalk.org, ideally from the account's email address. Include your username and a brief description of the details of how/when the account was hacked. A signature will likely be required (see below).
Often, you need to prove ownership of the account with a PGP or Bitcoin signature. This has two steps:
 1. You need to show that the PGP key or Bitcoin address is associated with the account, for example by referencing an unedited post in which you posted the address.
 2. You need to sign an appropriate message with that key/address.
For example, this is an example of an appropriate proof of ownership:
Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
<insert address here>
<insert signature here>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...
so if you can provide some of those ?surely you'll recover your account .
The chances of this happening are very bad. You can contact the recovery team as described but there are probably more problems.
Please have a look at this post: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q3)
Many of these users are already banned and according to Trust there was some account trading.
Is there any chance you still have access to this Unobtanium wallet?
I really like this coin. It'll take forever but I will achieve 1 coin!
Are people donating?
lol
4R64j9E1hDexVr8yzQXuwaAg76TRXYrN3n - 42 Coin
SbETGsnT5WSZJnWf63Vxpt3jufNPVTmKH1 - Smart Coin
ucyarFcJUF7TLUSPzTEVGAAnw1TiwrrLoj - Unobtanium
My three favorite coins! Thanks if you do! ! !
Because I know Unobtanium is still a coin with a functioning blockchain... Perhaps 42coin as well, but a signed message from a 42coin address -- that has always been an obscure request.
I found an ETH adress in one of your posts from June 25, 2017 !
The Adress has still some ETH balance on this Account if you have access to this wallet or Account guess the chances maybe good for get your account back.
My bat file looks like this:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x7CB5eA7Dc754Da82B49b4E8ac06639b5AB4c4797.Ajek
But its up to the recovery team to doing this , but guess maybe you are already in contact with them.
Good luck for get your Account back.
The only wallets I have access to are my musicoin account, sumo, decred and monero. I was mining directly to Bittrex and Cryptopia (before the lawsuits) back then. I might have used coinbase for an ETH address but Im not sure.
YES! Thats my old coinbase ETH address but its not the same anymore. Does coinbase change coin addresses? The fourth (4th) transaction on my account was a deposit from ethermine to that old ETH address on my coinbase. Why would it change over time though?
Coinbase changes address after every transaction as far as I know, but I think the old addresses are still linked to your account only, so in that case, the old address still belongs to your account if you have that coinbase wallet account. I don't think you can sign a message from a coinbase address since you don't own the keys, but if you can prove that coinbase wallet address is still in your hands, (because any amount sent to that wallet should be in your account), your chances for recovering the account gets higher.
Just write to them using the original email you used to register your account  even if you don't have a signed message from a know crypto address and wait for a couple of weeks for a response. Make sure you include other details that suggest that your account was hacked such as date of hack and even screenshots of the email addresses you received. You could be lucky and recover your account just like me
I did that. They asked me to use an old ETH address and sign it through coinbase but I have to look into how to do it.
I cannot sign anything with any coinbase address. Not sure what to do so I sent recoveries screenshots of my coinbase wallet addresses and the post I made with my claymore miner setup with the same ETH address. I still have my original .BAT files too lol. This is extraordinarily difficult  Shocked Undecided Cry
Just give it time bro. Once the process of account recovery begins. They will be able to get back to you with more instructions. I also had my action hacked and had no signed message but with the little evidence I had, they helped me recover it.
Edit:
Your account has been queued for recovery. I do hope you follow further instructions provided by the team.
Yeah! Just got the email today! I have to wait 7 days then I can reset my password. Then I have to go through everything post 2017 and delete what the hacker posted. Thanks all for being here with me during the process lol. You're all rockstars!
I don't think you can sign a message from a coinbase address since you don't own the keys, but if you can prove that coinbase wallet address is still in your hands, (because any amount sent to that wallet should be in your account), your chances for recovering the account gets higher.
this is so.  he could generate a report from coinbase that shows that address .
he could show his current coinbase account and deposit a small amount into that eth address. his coinbase account would go up by that amount.
this would prove the eth address is tied to his coinbase account.
if the coinbase account has the same email as his bitcointalk account has. the email would get a deposit notice to his coinbase account.
so this would prove email+eth+coinbase are linked which should be enough to get him the account.
see issues below with all recovery of any stolen account.
but the current owner may say hey he sold me the account in person for a few hundred in cash.
so there is an issue.
 btw in every case the current controller of an account can claim this account was sold via cash face to face.
not sure how that is resolved.
