There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

So it's part of the upgrade of 2.0? CMIIW.

Just found this article: https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-core-developers-mid-april-berlin-hard-fork

And it says that it will fix the inefficiency of the gas fees, well, that's promising if that's part of the fork/upgrade.

Finally they also talk about inefficient gas at the moment, after everything is stable I think eth will dominate again Smiley
We have to wait for that time to come. They're aware about the inefficiency of the gas fees and looking forward to see the good result of this fork.

They should have do it earlier than April, everyone is struggling about the high fees.
