There is no official information about this yet, it is still a rumor as of now.
If it is true, It looks like they are trying to achieve something more like Defi? since they are aiming for a digital asset wallet based on this rumor.
First, they partnered with Paxos and then trying(rumor) to acquire digital wallet Curv. But will it be possible to achieve something like Defi? or it is just another attempt to provide their supporter a better and secure wallet to hold their assets?

Sounds confirm already when insiders are spills the information even though there isn't yet an official statement from Paypal. Would it be a good time to invest in Curv then?

I have a few of it but its not really growing high but I just buy because its a defi project, I'm even at loss today which I remember have invested in it when its price was $3.12.

While we could not yet be sure if this is already official, what we should understand that PayPal will naturally be showing some financial muscles in the world of cryptocurrency and buying other platforms that has the potential to further extend its influence would naturally come! And just like Binance, this can just be the start of acquisitions. PayPal has the money, and it can easily muster other investors to also come into board to buy any business, if it wants to. Paypal will be announcing it when it will be the true story, people are feeling free to create their own speculation based on any rumour that came from the insiders. It's easy for Paypal to do that acquisition and that makes sense if paypal will try to expand its crypto service.

If this is true then papyal is trying to build their centralization in the decentralized world like how Binance and other centralized services did and made huge profits out of it.It could be true or it could be false but not good for the crypto user to use Paypal for buying and selling since they are never going to allow people to send or receive cryptos or even you can't withdraw them.

Yes did not know that as of now, I read some articles that PayPal has been partnered with New York-based Paxos's iBit trading exchange last October 2020, Pretty sure they already profited on that one.

PayPal has serious crypto ambitions!

They officially unveiled their crypto services in October last year with the launch of a partnership with industrial startup Paxos.

The services officially launched in the days following this announcement, opening it to eligible users in the United States on November 12.


They also have plans for a new special crypto business unit, according to CEO Daniel Schulman, who spoke during a conversation about the company's revenue on Wednesday. There he said:

"We all know that the current financial system is outdated and we can imagine a future where transactions are completed in seconds, not days; a future where transactions need to be cheaper to complete; and a future that allows all people to be part of the digital economy, not just the wealthy. OMG!!!!! that's why my CHSB is growing so hard caused by it has an official partnership with CURV  thank you for this dude. It doesn't matter whether paypal wanna reveal the price of not but that proves that paypal was seriously taking the crypto industry as an opportunity. 
I wanna see that the involvement from another big firm to the crypto. It seems like massive adoption will be starting to happen soon.
