Introducing CYPHER STAMPS by CYPHER POSTAGE
I have been a stamp collector for over 40 years. Once I became a physical bitcoin collector, I always wanted to see someone make a stamp loaded with actual Bitcoin on it.
So in 2017 I created the first loaded physical bitcoin stamp that was actually posted and used in the USA as you can see here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2097158.msg20957878#msg20957878 I let it go at that and waited for someone else or some government agency to take up the torch and produce their own version of a physical Bitcoin. I waited for years and nothing happened...I mean yes, they did issue stamps with other crypto coins on them, but none of them were Bitcoin.
So a few weeks back, I started this mind game for people to be able to sweep some bitcoin out of a digital bitcoin stamp similar to what I made back in 2017.
http://www.crypto-stamps.com/private3.html It was a hit amongst some people here but for whatever reason it was moved to the gambling section as it was not deemed a physical collectable item.

Well......that got me into thinking of making a physical bitcoin stamp to give away! Its something I should have done years ago.....make my own actual physical stamps and also be allowed to give them away or sell them as I please as well.
That being said, I bought and created a website here>>
www.cypherpostage.com or
www.cypherstamps.com.
Designed a new stamp and generated the public and private keys on an air-gapped computer.
The stamps will be placed on an envelope and inside the sealed envelope are all the keys for the private key as well as the password.
Winner or buyer will need to load with face value prior to shipping!
Can these stamp be used for posting items? The answer is no, these are novelty collectable stamps that are one of the first of their kind in the world in having physical bitcoins on them. Just like Bitbills and Casascius not being real government issues cards/coins, the same apply to these stamps. They are made by Cypher Postage as a tribute to Bitcoin and all the physical bitcoin collectors around the world.
Full disclosure… The stamps were sent out to be made to a stamp manufacturer, so yes the private keys have been exposed to someone besides myself. I had to make a minimum of 10 sheets per order so I have 9 sheets that are available to give away or sell but will never be able to be swept…as the word specimen and a postmark will be written over the QR codes and of course the passwords will not be provided with them.
The passwords on these stamps are at least 17 scrambled letters numbers and figures that according to
https://password.kaspersky.com/ will take centuries to solve.
If you feel uncomfortable about this, then please do not buy or participate in this game. Other than that, they will be close to impossible to brute force.
As you can see I have had a stamp online loaded with 0.02btc for the past 4 years and it has not been swept at all.
http://www.crypto-stamps.com/ So for now I have created one sheet with 20 stamps on it. Along with this sheet came 9 other sheets that were made as specimens.
The first block of 4 stamps and 5 sheets I will keep in my possession as part of my personal collection.
Stamp #20 will be given away for free in a mind game to be announced later. And perhaps I shall give out more as well…we shall see in what mood I am in.
Maybe stamps #5 thru 19 will be auctioned off separately.
The specimen sheets, 5 will be kept in my personal collection. The other 4 will be auctioned off or given away in these games.
I will probably issue more than 20 and I also have different artwork and values all set to be made...all depending if I am in a good mood.
And yes these are all numbered and limited editions of probably 100 of each value. So very collectable!
Please keep in mind these specimen sheets are identical to the actual stamps loaded but the owner will not be able to sweep the private key unless he has the complex password that only envelope hodlers will be able to have.

www.cypherpostage.com I am also working on creating these at home with self perforated papers in the works..in other words future ones will not be sent out for printing, private keys will never be exposed to another person and only one sheet per stamp will ever be produced….so no specimens at all. But that is not a promise. By the way in the real postage word, there are also specimen stamps sent out to postmasters so they were able to identify valid stamps. So yes very collectable in philately.
