The definition of the post is that: today it is more profitable to have bitcoin but in the immediate future it will be more profitable to have ethereum. These variations indicated by the eth / btc will be more volatile lately, it would also indicate that when one rises the other falls but even with more determination, clearly avoiding the general collapse of everything.

examples:
 maybe ethereum 2000$ / btc 30000$

i think the aproximated price for ethereum right now is 1550$

if bitcoin reaches 50.000$ and ethereum drop to 1550 is a normal price. then we must check all because the move start close of these ranges

Not all alts are shitcoins. But yes all alts are a means to gain more BTC or $$$....

People do have different inputs when it comes to their holdings, its neither targeting out to hold off altcoins purely or would definitely still considering on accumulating bitcoin

out of those altcoins which i do believe that most people been doing in most cases.Im not really expecting that much when it comes to altcoin season because it is neither

correlated for sometime with bitcoin market, when we see some green candles on bitcoin then some altcoins do follow.

Bitcoin will hit $ 80,000     will start its impulse on 6/3/2021 , Ethereum can't chase it .

The ETH / BTC pair will go down.

I highly recommend swap to ETH when BTC take around 80k or sell to USD, then wait for a good ETH price. All the market will go drop later.

I believe we are in a situation where nobody can guess what will happen. However ethereum is not a bad investment I can say that. How do I know? Well, by July we are going to have eip 1559 which would make the transactions cheaper once again, and drastically as well so it should be like under 2-3 dollars at least which is a big deal and I think that should be one of the most important parts of the ETH changes.

Secondly we are still on path of 2.0, there is really nothing that could stop ethereum as well because by the looks of it they are going to achieve that in the next year or so and that will increase the price a lot as well. This is why I believe eth will do fine in near future.

Not to go all ETH this thread but for me it's just additional profits to gain that will be turned into fun money or BTC.
I think this will be my strategy each cycle (because of its success). Buy a few K of the most promising shitcoins at the lowest in the cycle and then ride the greater percentage increase and convert to fiat, fun or BTC. Dump the BTC gained to the cold wallet and rinse and repeat...

I agree that Bitcoin is the mother of coins but the technology always update, stuck in Bitcoin will make you missed good profits

Coinbase and other US exchanges, at least to my understanding if not experience, always go offline and crash in these moments of peak interest, nothing to worry about (unless you think clearinghouses are also at play here haha).

Crypto always surprises everyone, some might have good analysis and they are capable to work it out and turn things favoring their calls, tough but if you'll manage to point things into the rigth directions the benifits is really huge.

ETH has a breakout pattern in its ratio, price can do anything of course.   Recent price action is recovering much of the previous decline and I think its over 50% of that retracement now.



For this much fast momentum, its looking positive above 54k but we do have some regular ceiling to the price highs.

Guys, I reiterate that I have the BTC law in front of me.
is the ETH / BTC pair.
this has to go towards the range 0.016-0.025
right now we are at 0.032

1 ETH 1829 $
1 BTC 56199 $

if we divide the 2 quantities 1829/56199 = 0.032

Option A:

56199 x 0.025 / 0.032 =
$ 43,000 for BTC (AROUND)

1829 x 0.025 / 0.032 =
1428 $ for ETH

Option B (thinking that ethereum stops at $ 2300 approx)

2300 x 56199/1829 = 70671 $ for BTC

then, im thinking about in january 2021 price for etc / btc pair was: 0.025, we are going to 0.08 - 0.12 eth / btc pair

if we going to 0.025 then maybe price for 1 BTC is going to increase, that way few people will be able to benefit from for example:

1 BTC% 0.025 = 45 ETH
if 1 BTC costs 56199 (u will pay 1248 $ / each ethereum)

u can win more ethereum trading for BTC, then when ethereum goes up in price, you can switch back to BTC and you will have earned much more than selling, can you imagine doing that from 0.016 to 0.12 or 1.00? WOW !!!

I recommend to have bitcoins to buy cheap ethereum when the opportunity arises , after that it will be more difficult to obtain ethereum.

Yes there is a strong trend quite a few speculators will be looking at, there will be a fundamental story and reason behind this also but on the charts its fairly clear in its story.   From 2017 for years there was a downtrend not broken and that has now been passed, ETH as a ratio to BTC is generally gaining more longer term and thats fair to see as ETH will have lost more from its peak to low.    What people are now watching is the lows in this current sell or any sell this year where any alt coin is put under pressure.   Under a negative sell can ETH still maintain some trend of rising in its lowest daily prices in ratio to BTC, if so it remains a bullish candidate to outpace Bitcoin month to month even yearly and that would be quite surprising.
   Current reasoning I see for that is ETH is transformative in its progress of various changes like considering proof of stake is quite revolutionary, it doesn't mean it succeeds the risk is the move fails, the trend fails and ETH returns to its previous yearly lows.  However the whole idea of outperformance is quite reasonable if any blockchain is doing something new or capturing a market in a way Bitcoin is not quite reaching at present, thats possible as the world is a large place and there is still alot of people left out of the majority of crypto trade.  Efficiency must always advance for true growth imo and these recent price gains arent enough to call for success overall year to year, so I hope all technology remains competitive in its advancement vs alternatives.

Another theory from a newbie without any chart or data. I just want to say my mind is tired to follow so many signal or prediction, even though the prediction is just prediction, so for now, i believe that we will see the ATH of Bitcoin, the real ATH end of years, so for now, i just buy and Hold

But ethereum can go from 1200usd or 900usd to 3,000usd in just 1 year.

If you hold BTC after $ 80,000 you are running the risk of being trapped.

Then the ALTSEASON will begin! ( it's just people fleeing the disaster   )
Dogecoin will help the altcoin as well.

or, u can buy BTC and swap when 70k+ for ETH and u have an excellent price for that.
