It looks me there is no specific thread on this amazing book by Saifedean Ammous

Quote
This book blew my mind; it is a work of genius. It put together the technical, economic, motivational and related issues around Bitcoin better than anything I've seen. The best compliment I can give this book is that I read it and I decided to buy $425m of bitcoin. It was the most impactful on our way of thinking in Microstrategy and it made us want to invert our balance sheet to base it on a bitcoin standard.
--Michael Saylor, Cofounder, chairman, and CEO of Microstrategy

This book came after the great 2017 bitcoin bull run: it is based on all the main reasonings that shows why people should, at least, consider bitcoin as true alternative to the current system.
There are many videos that explains the book in detail, if for one reason or another you cannot buy it, but I suggest you will buy the book.
Below you can find an excellent book presentation by the author himself

I think the reason that it is indeed hard for people to consider bitcoins an alternative is because fiat has been in the race since ages and now people might consider it as something that might be taken with the fiat but an alternative sounds a little too strong.
I have always found that introducing bitcoins as an investment to other people works wonders. Also the idea of doing international transactions with Bitcoins is something that is very powerful, you wait days though the normal systems and then also at the end the transaction might get returned! But with Bitcoins it might take a while but at the end of the day you pay much lower fee and it's more convenient ! Many of my friends were facing a crisis when the western union did shut down for a while in our area and I offered to help them though my wallet! For the college fee. All worked wonders! It's an amazing opportunity for people to explore the world of financial freedom!
