the forum users are actually a good community to ask because they are already in crypto for years. they've heard everything here from scams to legit projects that turned scam. there is no other qualified community that will give you advice in crypto but the bitcointalk community. most of the advice you get if not so sure about investing in crypto is just buy BTC and hold.

i dont think this was the best investment advice for 2021 because we are now in 2021 and most of the forum users in here are already not noobs anymore so they atleast gained experience in trading or anything related to crypto and they know what they are talking about so why would you not believe on them ? you are in the right forum to get info in regards to crypto matters than you will get info in a non crypto forum but it wasnt all about the rank that you see because even a newbie rank user can sometimes search for info before he post a comment .

I'd rather have to stick where I am comfortable with and stop wasting our time searching for a new one. DYOR, we simply do that before and when we finally found it, that will say enough but some never get it, they are too greedy and they keep looking where they can find satisfaction. Everybody has own opinion, as you mentioned we should make own research, don't rely on anybody, maybe he is wrong about his prediction. l prefer dividing my money by investing, like 50/50, or sometimes it can be more than these numbers. Mostly l invest in top altcoins, for that l would say top altcoins are the best choices. There can be also other projects which have also chance to be the best in the future. Picking the right coin will only happen if you apply DYOR.

You'll normally see people asking which is the best coin to invest and they think that it's a good shortcut but no hey. You can make a lot of profit if you invest at the good coins during their early days.
