If I understood correctly you want to change the seed phrase ? If that's the case, that is simply not possible. A seed phrase / words when generated are unchangeable and if you want new ones you'll have to create a new wallet and transfer your funds from one wallet to another.

This is correct.

It cannot be changed but to change it, you have to make a new one but you cannot assign or make your own recovery phrases because it's automatically made by the wallet.

Guys please help. I'm trying to find DeFi related topics here on bitcoin talk and got completely lost. So many things to discuss. I'm new to DeFi, found out about PeakDefi project so they helped me, cuz I was literally 0 knowledge about dapps, NFT and other cool things. Those guys educate well with their content on YouTube but I wanna dive even deeper into this subject.

There is no way you can change your trust wallet security key if the key is misplaced, as long as you can access your wallet now, create a new multisig wallet and withdraw out your funds to the new wallet. Never forget to save your 12 words seed phrase in an offline storage.

1. Temporarily download another wallet app such as Coinomi
2. Move the funds from your Trust wallet to your Coinomi wallet
3. Generate a new wallet on your Trust wallet app
4. Move the funds from your Coinomi wallet to your newly generated Trust wallet

I think that @OP is not talking about trust wallet seed(s), but rather the password that encrypts the wallet file, if you forgot it or think that someone might be able to access the wallet file * the password was easy,* it is better to recover the password using


 - Access to your old wallet and reset password using wallet seed
 - Create new strong password
 - add lock to the wallet

If you think that someone knows your wallet seed/wallet file + part of password/seed do the following:

 - Create a new wallet with strong password.
 - Send all your coins to the new wallet.

If OP lost the 12 words seed, unfortunately, that's unrecoverable.  Upon wallet creation, there's a TOS that you agree with, "I understand that if I lose my recovery words, I will not be able to access my wallet.", see on this article for further information.

But if you lost only your password not the 12 words seed, that is very easy to change.
Clear cache the app -- open your wallet app -- click "I have already a wallet" -- select "Multi-coin wallet" icon -- Enter your 12 words seed -- and create a strong password.  Everything is recoverable if you have a recovery seed, remember always "Not you key, Not you Coins".
