The only thing that I could think of making people powerful from it is how potential wealth it can give to a random person and authorities got nothing to do with it because it is decentralized.
Imagine if Bitcoin actually surged and made many millionaire.

For me, it is a big yes rhat bit oin make's a person's life better because as we can see there are some living proof of it. I know alot of people that is become one of the product of becoming a millionaire because of bitcoin. I can say that it is good to investin bitcoin and it is never too late because it is decentralized and will continualy increase in rhe following next years. I think also if you are so patient and always believe in uourself, you might also achieve what you want and what you deserve. Not just only in crypto but also in our life.

For many people who invested in bitcoin and kept on holding it have made good money from investing in bitcoin. So, their life has changed for better as now they have money which unless they dint invested in it would have being the same case. So, it has helped people to transform their life and be financially strong than before.

Of course Bitcoin can make someone's life better, the problem is how we use Bitcoin to provide benefits for us. Because not everyone can use
Bitcoin well, not even a few people whose lives are getting worse because of buying Bitcoin. Therefore Bitcoin does not make us rich instantly,

Bitcoin doesn't make someone's life better, it only creates windows of opportunity, innovation and the pathway to people's life betterment. I cannot deny the contribution Bitcoin bring but I still stand on what I said Bitcoin only gives people opportunity and liberation but making life a better characteristic only depend on every individual knowledge and ignorant.

Of course bitcoin can change and has already changed many people's lives for good, bitcoin is connected with a lot of opportunities which in return yeild good income. You need to look at the problem in many directions, I've seen a lot of people change their lives completely by entering this market. The first is a friend who became a millionaire investing in bitcoin since 2014 - 2015, which was the better case for my friend. And then another case in this market, also another friend who went out of business when he entered the downtrend market, and he was involved in too many SCAM projects, that is the case, but it's not better.

Sadly some people are too impatient to wait until the market pumps bitcoin price, so they become desperate and start investing in schemes promising high percentage returns in short run. The result is a big scam and waste of bitcoins that could increase in value futurely. Actually bitcoin can make a person's life better if this individual is responsible and know how to manage his money properly, being patient during the whole process in a way he can enjoy his gains later, when the time finally comes.

Bitcoin isn't a magical token which make investors rich instantly. They still need to be focused and aware about the reality where you don't become rich overnight.

I also don't see bitcoin as a tool for getting rich but it can be an implement to help you on your journey into having a better life. Things do not work like that, bitcoin is just a tool and tools can be used to improve your life but at the same time tools can be bad for your life, think of an automobile, it can greatly improve your life and makes your ability to go from point A to point B easier and faster but there are also many people that have misused their automobiles when they drink or take other substances while driving and they have either suffered injuries or even lost their lives while driving, and a similar logic applies to any tool including bitcoin.

OP is viewing it differently. i'm not sure if he wants us to live without money.

bitcoin improved the lives of people in Nigeria and in other countries who are unbanked. it's all just money as OP said but bitcoin is very different for you can look at it as an investment because its value can increase that you can be richer as before. it helped the less fortunate profit from BTC.

Bitcoin has many characteristics that make it better than fiat but there is one in specific that can make the life of a person better and that is its limited supply, fiat with its unlimited supply goes down in value every single day and people do not have a way to safely store their wealth, bitcoin changes this, bitcoin given enough time not only stores your wealth but it helps you get even more of it without doing anything else but holding it and this is really valuable especially for people without too many resources.

Well, it really depends on the person that uses Bitcoin.
