How to "rebuild" an explorer for a coin who have no more explorer ?

I nearly know ho to build an explorer, but what about "rebuilding" one for a coin who has no explorer anymore ?

Is not it better if you are forking it from the existing coin? i meant you can see BSC explorer and it was forking from the etherscan. That has a very similar design but BSC was only changing the color theme, If you are having background as the developers and you can do that easily.
