Why is Cardano (ADA) surrounded by vagueness? What are the actual features?

Hi guys, disclaimer.. I am currently holding Cardano. Not a fanboy, not a hater. Just trying to figure out what the real deal is with Cardano. I have mixed feelings about the Coin / Blockchain and the CEO.

There seems to be a lot of talk from the CEO, but rarely hard facts / features and deadlines. It seems more like a Theory than actually whats going to happen. ADA is presented as decentralized for months already but even until today parts of it are controlled by one company in Hong Kong (Input Output).

Diving into the Cardano community feels like a cult as well. If you dont agree with their Leader Charles, then shut up. Why is he streaming / talking so much? Wouldn't his time be better invested in developing Cardano?

Is it confusion on purpose? Let's use a whole lot of fancy names for our development stages, a whole lot of theory and confusing terms instead of hard facts?

What are the currenct features of ADA? What is coming soon? When is it coming? A lot of these answers are "Charles said a long the way".

This is not a hate thread, but I find it very hard to get any hard facts on Cardano and I start to feel like this is to be intented.

Please share your thoughts.

I don't know what you currently know or what you've read so far but you can look at the current roadmap to check what has been achieved and what's to come. Mary hard fork was successfully completed recently and developers can create tokens^[1] and build dapps over Cardano network.

There are generally two approaches towards trading. The one who fundamentally analyze the market and coins, they'd would buy and hold a promising coins. But for the one who do technical analysis, they profit from market movement, they trade in a small interval of time and it doesn't matter which coin they trade or whether it is a good coin or not.

Finally someone who actually tells it like it is and guess what? Cardano isn't very much different from alts with good marketing.

A lot of talking, a lot of appearances in public and slick marketing tactics and shiny stuff. But that should tell us all something, that he doesn't have time to actually do his own project so we must assume it's other devs paid to do stuff.

Its simply just another cryptocurrency and nothing more, even though it was profitable for the holders due to the bull run there is no great future for such coins. You may follow their official site for the future updates and if they are not following what they have been told then its risky for the holders.

ADA is a currency like any other and is being built by developers over time. There was a programmer who discovered that ADA was not capable of executing smart contracts like Ethereum or any other project with tokens. ADA is simply a blockchain that adds many different management functions and it is not for everyone, this project serves businesses that need to be regulated. I think this project is not really decentralized.
The value of the current ADA can be overblown through marketing activities.

It is speculation that we don't think the coin will come as a surprise. who originally thought that ADA would grow and develop while in the ideal CoinMarketCap position? no one thought beforehand? So when we saw the potential for a coin like ADA to be so worthless, that's when the ADA team gave us a breath of fresh air. We are passionate about ADA's growth, and have proven that old coins can do us any good. Even so, we bought it when the price was low. don't get carried away by high-priced HYPE.

Yes, that is very true and I personally also often use technical analysis to gain profit through market movements at this time, but I also often choose good tokens or coins in terms of trading even though I do it in a very short duration.
