Please, stop responding to useless posts, and just add them to your ignore list.

Did someone already compile a list of Trolls/redundant-posters to ignore? (link please)
Mods need to bring back Hero/troll highlighting.

Also, it would help, if the mods pinned helpful topics, so we can cut back on the redundant arguments/questions.

Our german list is an community project and bad posters can only be added with reasons and multiple nominations.
(Versus in contrast, your list is very big.)

Please allow me to say: this is just a fucked up way to be.

In all my time spent in forumspace I've never felt the need to ignore or block anyone, anywhere.  I really can't imagine why I ever would... because they're a troll? a shill? a moron? cause they've got a dirty fucking mouth?  Give me a break.  I've never had such cause to truly fear for my own rationale.

Even if I was some sort of stuckuty-uputy prude that got offended by certain arrangements of words on a page, I'd like to believe I wouldn't ever decide to self-censor myself from the possibility of ever being exposed such woundment, or nonsense, or threadjacking... or different opinion.  It's dangerous.  You end up without the first clue about what's really going on, because you no longer see content you don't like.  And sooner or later you end up with such a tailored view of an ideaspace that you start and look upon divergent content as deviant, dangerous and unacceptable, and you start evangelising to other folks about what ought and ought not to be said at all.

I can understand a reason for something like this being put together.  There seems to be alot goin on here and if you can limit the amount of utterly worthless posts that will nobody any good I think it is a usefull thing to work on.

You can also block whole sections of the forums from your "profile" settings. That is handy for eliminating the foreign language boards I can't read anyway. So if you don't want to know about the latest alt coins or your not into mining, you can make them go away.

I don't have anyone on my block list as I think it's quite pathetic to do so in most cases, especially when people like bryant.coleman and Lethn just put you on them because they either disagree with what you say or can't win an argument against you after continually making ignorant and easily refutable points. It's even more pathetic when people publicly show off these lists like an achievement or badge of honour or something.
