Can we stop recommending electrum for Android?

Electrom wallet on Windows and Linux is good it gives the user many options and is safe considering that the device is safe.
I have downloaded Electrom wallet on my Android device and it is less than good, it does not contain many features and it does not have a beautiful interface.
I'm only going to use it to read my master public key.
Please, give me a feature for Electrom's Android wallet that makes me keep it?

Electrum wallet is best on computers as it support more features, but there are many people that do not have computers as Android phones are cheap and everyone is now using phone, for this reason, in the absence of no personal computer, using electrum on phone is not bad until you get a computer.

But, mobile electrum users must be more careful to not let their device install malware as phones are more often used online this era, also seed phrase must be accurately backup offline, the phone must be pin or password protected while the user must be very conscious and not trust anyone. Also, computers pose this risks too and must be avoided.

Electrum for Android has always been a lighter version of Electrum for desktop, and the developer certainly has reason for both versions not to be identical in features. In fact, if you think about it, any mobile crypto wallet should not be used as storage for large amounts, so some features from the desktop version are not even necessary - the emphasis is to make the app light and efficient, which in my opinion has been achieved.

I wouldn’t agree that Electrum is a bit more secure if it’s on a desktop computer (maybe if we’re talking about Linux OS), because it all comes down to how the user handles their devices. If it just matters to you that some wallet looks nice, trust me there are some crypto wallets that have a very eye pleasing UI (compared to Electrum of course).

You can have security pin to login to your wallet everytime when you enters into the electrum on Android and that is the only security feature I know. And having any security feature is useless when your device itself can be hacked or spy using the malwares.

It's my favorite mobile wallet.  I only have one hot wallet set up to use on my phone, and the rest are watch-only.  As others have said, Electrum mobile isn't nearly as feature filled as the desktop version, but I don't need on my phone.  I only want a light, simple, easy to use wallet on my phone, and Electrum works perfectly for that.

Every (either mobile or computer version) wallet have it cons and pro
Mobile wallet high chance to be malware fee if download directly from google play store or apple store but computer version of the Electrum wallet will need to be verify.
Computer version of the wallet have high chance of security while the mobile can be vulnerable at some point but if use careful, avoid human error, avoid surfing porn site and other possible infected site/email you should fine using the mobile version.

It uses the same backend code as the desktop Electrum and it also connects to the same Electrum nodes. So the security is pretty much the same as the desktop version regardless of the platform specific weaknesses (ie. you are carrying your phone around).

Keep in mind that the mobile version should not have the same features as the desktop version since the purpose of the wallet is different but if you feel like there is a specific feature that is missing and is needed for a "mobile wallet" then create an issue on github and ask the developers to add it.

Password/Pin, I am using 6 digit numerals as my password that is why I thought it was a pin but anyway not much of difference between them. I am also having the updated version but I can able to make only numerals as my password, is this same with your wallets or alphabets can be used?

Yeah, I know what you mean about its appearance.  The desktop version is a hell of a lot better looking than the mobile app--but the latter definitely does the job it needs to do.  If you're looking for a prettier mobile wallet, I'd suggest Mycelium (except that you can't set the fees to the exact amount last I checked). 

Both wallets give you a seed phrase as your private key, which is convenient, but I think Electrum is the better of the two wallets and I don't know of any mobile bitcoin wallet that has any advantages over them.  There are multicoin wallets like Coinomi, but those tend to have security problems.

Yes, I restored the wallets from seed not long ago, and the software prompted me for an alphanumeric password.  Special characters are also allowed.  If you upgraded your wallet recently but still had the old wallet files in your phone, that may not have triggered you to change you password.
