To be good at trading, you have to go with it in a two-pronged approached and those prongs include acquiring knowledge and acquiring experience, in your case, you already have the first prong which you can still improve because learning never stops and knowledge is power as for the second prong which is acquiring experience, you have to get in the field and try to trade, go for smaller amounts of trade or practice in a simulation which is risk free.

I totally agree with you on this. Many times, we think we only need the knowledge and not the experience and that's why many people fail to make profit trading.
Many people just dabble into trading after learning one or two about trading. What I recommend for new traders is to try and gain experience by demo trading after they've learnt all there is to trading and practice. However, I do tell them not to demo trade with a free account but with a certain amount of money that they can afford to lose in case anything goes wrong

Yeah, you are right that we can start learning trading at any time but it doesn't mean that we just stop at the demo. No, this never gives you enough learning needed for serious trading.
It is what OP did right and that supposed to be a practice for the people who wanted to be in trading. This isn't a joke, we gonna lose our money if we don't care about it. Learning about trading can't be done instantly, that is why only those who have patient will succeed.

i watched a couple of courses and read a couple of books, and I liked trading as a career  and I want to solid my information and skills
I saw this article about which books you need for your CMT test, which I'm thinking of taking them as a study plan for my trading career
here are the books and the article
https://www.tradingsetupsreview.com/book-list-chartered-market-technicians-cmt/
, is it a good plan?

There are some and it isnt bad to take them or read them as long you look it to be beneficial then you do also have the time then its not bad to have some peak
but actually resources online can really be seen in a few clicks or searches thats why i wont really bothering myself on finding for some books or courses.
Self experience would be one of the best thing but dont rush up on yourself on learning everything in a short time because trading knowledge
cant be attained that short.

Indeed, there are no traders who are successful without learning first, even I am sure even professional traders must also learn about trading first.
All traders must have started from learning and training, so don't be lazy to learn about trading if we want to get big profits from trading. Being
successful in trading requires a process and cannot be obtained instantly. Therefore, one of them starts planning learning trading properly. We can
do it by reading books or articles about trading, or we can also learn from the YouTube platform where there are usually lots of video tutorials on
how to trade properly.
You can't be a teacher if you don't go to school. Just like it happens to trading and you can't call yourself then as a trader of you don't have knowledge about trading. Training is very important to improve our knowledge that can be also applied to real life. With this, what we have to expect us? Well, it is obvious that the result is not good and for sure we have to blame ourselves back then.
What OP did is definitely right. We know how risky and tricky is trading and we have to be prepared for it. That simply gaining some ideas from others, from written in the books helps a lot.

~snip~
Trading is not a game or a gamble. There is a market analysis is not just a guess. If you don't want to learn don't trade, your money will run out. All have processes, nothing is instant. The demo account may not be enough for practice. The trading psychology is very different, when you use a demo account and a real account. Especially to practice patience, it is very difficult. I think traders all over the world are the same, emotion is a difficult problem to train.

Indeed, and these people have a big advantage when compared to those who have nothing. Reading books and soliciting ideas from our friends are of big help to clearly understand what we are doing and we can expect positive results rather than seeing failure.
It is very important doing this and I could say it is a must. If we don't encourage ourselves to do such a thing, better make a decision to stop coz this will going nowhere.

Exactly, it is an effective approach to start learning trading. nearly 50% of us learn from our closest friends, and it's a method that feels very easy to understand. Plus some trading guides provided us with a self-discovering insight. and these facts are in accordance with the realm of learning. that is, where there is a direct learning method that has 75% understanding power based on Bloom's Taxonomy theory.

That is the best analogy I have seen about trading. It is exactly like being a teacher, you do not tell anyone to "go start teaching and the more you teach the better teacher you will be" if they never went to school in their life, they wouldn't know what to teach and they wouldn't be equipped with knowledge to teach anyone anything.

However if a teacher studies real hard and learns very well, they can become a teacher and be great at what they do. Obviously speaking if you know what you are doing you could end up studying real hard on trading as well and you will become a very good trader as well. Unfortunately in this day and age there are very little amount of people who care about studying and learning, I wish it was more but in a fastly lived world like we are in right now, people try to consume things very quickly, otherwise spending months studying same thing is way too difficult for attention span of this era.

Study to know more about trade is a good achievement.   Trading is a something we continue learning until will get use to it and how to impact other not to fall victim to those who experienced it in a negative way because they lack personal research to know more about a particular trade before carry out the activities.

Well, that is not a good plan for me but I think that is a good start. In trading, we should learn more technical analysis and the only way that we can get solid information is by reading a book or even an online book or e-book will perhaps help you. The most important in trading is that always have research for any important information regarding trading and either reading books and watching video tutorials on Youtube about trading, is a good start. Because trading career is the hardest task and to risk your money, you should be patient when the perfect time of cutting your profit because not all the time bitcoin will grow up.

It's very important that you have knowledge about trading before you will jump in. Some beginners skip a lot of things and they get bored in reading a lot of books about trading.
Basic trading is very important, I remember the first time I trade and all I want to do is set the token that I want to buy and follow the trend or suggestions that have said in the group chat that I joined in which is really a big mistake. I immediately lose half of my capital with just small period of time. It's hard to get profit rather than losing and it's really quick if you didn't analyse properly and get the right strategies about trading.

Becoming a profitable trader is not possible by learning from books but you must learn from your trading itself. I mean learning from books-videos-other traders can help you to enter into the trading domain but after that trading profitable will purely depend on your perception level. You must start with demo account and from there you need to learn from your activities by imagining your demo money as your real money. If you are capable of doing that then there are chances for you to be a successful trader in real soon.

When you are in learning phase, everything seems like easier and good to handle but in reality market pressure is something we cannot bear and handle because market will jump against your orders and your capital will be eaten by stop loss levels or your emotions will force you to exit earlier or push you to wait more and then end up with nothing.

Trading is not career which can be adopted by liking it; it is a habit which should be developed by practice and if remain profitable then you may adopt it as a career otherwise you must look for something else for your living rather than keeping trying in trading and losing Cool.

In my personal opinion, you can start learning trading anytime and thus you will be able to face any situation. You should use demo for understanding the basics of demo and it helps people.
Demo trading will only help you to guide how the trading platform work, like how many feature that can be used while you trading and how many feature that important to be known before you make a real entry.

Yeah, just it no more than that. Because Demo will not help you to earn profit, believe me, I mean it can't be made as your trading plan.

When you trade in Demo account you will not have a scary with the movement price because you use a fake money to trade. Different when you trade in the real platform, your pshychology will work depend on your knowledge.

I agree. You can't advance in a field only theoretically. You need to get your hands into the game and get a feel of the markets. ATM you an consult the range of books, seminars, blogs etc but you will not be able to fully solidify them without proper experience.

The fact that you already did some research is great and puts you in a great place to just roll with it. Good luck!
I tend to agree with you both, searching and learning aren't enough in trading, you need to have experience in the field and learn more strategies.  As they say, the experience is the best teacher in trading, and the more experienced you had the high chances to avoid losses.

I saw the article that given by the OP, it's just a book that we could learn on trading technically matters.  It's Chartered Market Technician (CMT) which is presumably more about technical analysis.  Probably it takes months before you have successfully done reading all chapters that had on the book.  It might good to try for those who are willing to learn but for me, I'll rather go practice in copy trading on the Etoro platform while learning in trading, IMO.
I agree with your point. Experience is essence in trading. One can not succeed without having enough experience. The longer you trade, the more sensitive you become, and you realize that in some cases, our instincts will try to tell us what to do

With regard to Etoro, they spend a ton of money for advertising and I can see their posts running all around the social media, youtube and even google. I just wonder whether their services are good? What about the fees? Are they high compare to other brokers? Moreover, I have heard many suspicious cases in terms of deposit and withdraw as well as online support.

Good plan in all things that you are engaging into and you are really earning something when it comes to learnings and experience. All of resources can really be found in the internet
if you are really that persistent and dedicative on finding out things for you to have more additional knowledge that you would accumulate which would really be helpful on the career
that you are choosing.Trading isnt something that can be learned with a few days, we are talking long years on this because market is way too unpredictable
there are tons of things needed to learn and the rest will be gained through actual experience.

It all depends on what you really want, what your goals are. Trading is an extremely difficult and stressful mental activity. To be successful you will have to spend at least 8 hours (or even more) a day, especially at the beginning.
Indeed, on the one hand, you will need to develop the theoretical part, on the other hand, you will need to develop the practical side. In this case, you will inevitably make mistakes that will lead to the loss of money.

You can learn crypto trading. You will found some good guidelines in YouTube and google. If you familiar with crypto, Then i think you have to learn crypto trading. You need to learn how to analyses market, How to place buy/sale order etc. Those are basic knowledge, you can learn them in short day. But Give focus in market analysing and research, those are very important in trading.

Yes it is.
Trading is a good Platform to earn a lot of money but after you are well skilled and experienced.
Otherwise you may loose your assets. Trading is a risky platform where anyone can be rich overnight and may be also poor. Everything is possible.
So first learn and gain experience then it will be a better option for you. Otherwise its quite risky

Reading books and trading materials is a good start but sometimes what you learn in a book is different if you apply it and have your own experience. That's why your experience is still the best teaching method that you can be use in trading. You should know how to read the graph and price movement. Learn both technical and fundamental analysis in trading.

And there is. More often than not, other people's knowledge will differ in different ways from your own experience. This is why it is critical to strike a balance.
You must receive knowledge and immediately implement it into your personal practice in order to see how reality reacts to new information received. Many make the mistake of completely immersing themselves in knowledge, ignoring the fact that they need to test it in practice.

Practiving and trying to enhance those knowledge for the best outcome for you, it's nothing if you just acquire knowlegde
and you don't do anything.

Action speak louder than word so applying that, it's a must to apply those knowledge and see if that's really works and try
to add some twist for your personal venture.

Yeah, those are two things that are very important and go hand in hand with one another. The first thing you must have is knowledge, but, if it is only knowledge you have, I don't think it's complete.
