Will Coinbase list Dogecoin?

Coinbase is good wallet and it will be help the dogecoin to rise it to their wallet but not big pump will happen to this coin because first of all that coin is not potential. Dogecoin become popular because of elon musk tweet last month ago and that is the help of him not because the potential but the help of the others so Im still not believetl to the dogecoin even it's rises the value may times.

Dogecoin transaction speed is much faster than BTC and the fee is cheaper than the king of cryptocurrency so why does Doge has no potential while BTC has? Elon saw something on Doge that's why he decided to invest on it. Dogecoin is easy to introduce to common people since its a meme coin. People can easily accept it because of that feature tho. More people using it means mass adoption.

The rumor just being startee by Elon Must right? He want Doge coin can be listed/traded on coinbase exchange. I saw some platforms that listed this rumor and seem like in a few days ahead doge coin will be more volatile.

Remember, a strategy that I always be used by some trader 'buy the rumor and sell the news', they will buy the coin now and they will sell after the rumor is happened.

Doge coin has been pumped by Elon Musk, yeah in a few months before everytime his tweeted about Doge coin then we will see a huge increase from this coin. I can't expect that the coin will have a high price like now.

Don't know. I think price of doge increased for elon musk tweet, I can't found any other reason for doge pump. Elon musk tweeted about doge more then one time. People bought a lot for it. Doge holder expecting lot of profit. And also doge holder increased a lot, That's why some person thinking coinbase can list doge.

I think at a point, Coinbase would eventually list Dogecoin, and wouldn't ignore all the noise and hype surrounding it(especially now Elon Musk has jumped aboard its ship). That's a lot of money to ignore.

Adding Dogecoin will be able to help Coinbase land new clients and make more money.
Coinbase listing will also turn attention to other cryptocurrency exchanges such as Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, and Gemini, which are eager to cash in and appease their customers by also adding Dogecoin to their exchanges.
They have the opportunity to earn millions of customers and dollars by activating Dogecoin trading, But if Coinbase doesn't add Dogecoin Coinbase will lose millions of dollars and millions of customers. Elon Musk also put pressure on Coinbase to add Dogecoin.
That's just my opinion on this news.

The Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball team have accepted dogecoin's use in buying their tickets and apparel. Sports brand Wooter Apparel and medical supplier CovCare recently announced support for dogecoin as alternative means of payment.

As far as dogecoin's price going up if it gets listed on coinbase and then going back down, the coin's price has gone up over 1100% this year after Musk's tweet about it a few months ago and has held its price. If it gets listed on coinbase the price won't go under what it is now.

Good points, I also believe that the hype created by Elon. Still there has no major development of Dogecoin. But you mentioned Elon my give some utility, if it gets true then the Dogecoin will be in top but if not then I have some doubts about it's existence. Market will decide everything. But we can only predict it.

This rumour may be another doge hype from Elon musk or either the rumor turns out to be true. The last pump for doge didn't stay long and maybe there is another to help grow the coin. One advantage for doge oin it is decentralized. and so a little right step can get the coin to real bull.

Interesting news but I would not count on Coinbase listing Dogecoin because mainly that coin is meant to be like a meme coin. It has no platform and whatsoever and I don’t think it holds any value other than when Elon Musk tweeted about it, good thing I sold most of them when it pumped and hodl Bitcoin  now than Dogecoin.

Naturally, I wanted it listed on Coinbase as I'm holding a bag of Dogecoin. It will be surprising how things can turn out to be when everything we didn't expect happens. If Elon wishes to and Coinbase sees potential profit I don't see why not. It would be the most successful Memecoin of all.

It almost starts as a joke but it becomes serious when casinos are accepting it. If people already see uses to it, they will invest in doge.  Can we also see one day Elon accepting Dogecoin for his products like the cars? Maybe.

I am not sure if the news is true, because the official news from coinbase has not yet appeared, but sometimes rumors in crypto come true, such as the price of Dogecoin before it was pumped, I heard rumors that Dogecoin would be pumped, but I didn't believe it because at that time the price of Dogecoin was around $0.002 and not long after the rumors the Dogecoin price was pumped up to $0.07.
So, it is possible that the rumors about Dogecoin will be listed on Coinbase are true, but maybe not .

I heard that Elon Musk might continue to show his mischief, but I don't expect it to ever be listed on coinbase. This will be very funny for this market, the coin meme is showing it to be a meme.

This is actually a good question and I've been wondering why he's so interested. He set up Doge mining rigs with his kids for fun. He also mentioned that he supports sell off by major Doge holders citing too much concentration as the main issue.

Maybe he's also intrigued/curious how the coin remains standing after it was abandoned by the founders and no active development before WSB pump happened.

Elon Musk thinks that dogecoin will be on the coinbase list he is planning and adding to the list will increase the value of these coins a lot. If Elon Musk listed and increased the price by investing traders would invest because the value of this coin would be much higher.

Elon Musk keeps on pestering Coinbase about listing it.  

There may two possibilities that makes Coinbase think about it.
1. It may create a positive reaction that will make their business bloom more.
2. A negative reaction to the mass crypto supporters that would tarnish their name.

They cannot just simply follow the hype that is being created by the billionaire. It is their names that is on the line here.

Actually I'm surprised that Coinbase still havent listed dogecoin and bunch of other popular cryptocurrencies. Both Coinbase and Coinbase pro has so many unpopular or I would say no-name to most of cryptocurrency users coins and tokens, that it is strange that they ignore top ones. For example, do a lot of people familiar with NuCypher ? Dogecoin is much, much more well knows. Tron is a good example also. Why there is no Tron on Coinbase?

At this stage, there is nothing official on the part of Coinbase. The only speculation about this comes from the tweet of Elon Musk, who urged the biggest stock market is the United States to add the coin for trading in its platform.

I don't think Coinbase is very keen on adding Dogecoin. Coinbase Wallet announced support for Dogecoin back in May 2019, allowing users to simply store their tokens.

Despite the wave of excitement over the cryptocurrency, Coinbase has so far refrained from allowing retail investors to trade DOGE. And yet recently listed many similar - SushiSwap (SUSHI) and Polygon (MATIC). This, of course, is not good for the outraged community.

Recently I saw a news by elon musk who comments that coinbase should list dogecoin. I think obviously coinbase should list dogecoin at their premium list. Recently dogecoin an another bumper coins in the cryptocurrencies market cap.

Just because elon musk was tweeting about doge and it doesn't mean coinbase should do that. The tweet that created by elon didn't give a big impact again to the doge's price. Coinbase has some requirements that must be filled by any coins that wanna be listed on coinbase.
This exchange site has a very strict audit by the team to the coin. The problem is doge has no utility usage.
That should be the main concern why doge will be difficult to be added into the coinbase.
