hello guys, what do you think about Marius Kramer forecast for BTC price $125K until June 2021? He says it is repeating the exact same patterns as in 2017 which means price jump from late March to June up to 125000.

If i remember correctly the price dumped hard after reaching the all time high (20k) in 2017

Although BTC is going crazy these past months but 125k is way out of reach in my opinion (at least for two years to come )

If you look at 2017 the price skyrocketted from $10k-$19k in 30 days.
That means that we still have a massive pump to go.

$125 might look high but double the current price and you are there

Plus you are correct, if it doesn't happen this year it will take 4years. Aka a cycle.

For me, this time is already different. Before, the market is not that so mature but for now, we can see less volatility compare to the 2017 bull run.
I don't think we can visit $20,000 or below again soon if ever we will reach above $100,000 on this bull run cycle.

I'm definitely not going to bet on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Because even though bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are pretty hyped up right now, Q4 of 2017 totally felt a lot different(at least where I'm from, not sure about the United States). But even on online communities, in Q4 of 2017 people were overly overly bullish. Right now, while there's definitely bullishness, what makes me confident that this is definitely not the top is that there's a lot of "bitcoin is going to crash soon so I'm not buying yet" people.

If I were to bet on it though, I'd at least pick end of 2021.

$125k (and higher) this year for sure, but don't think it'll happen by June. I expect it'll still be under $100k in June, perhaps challenging $100k for the first time in that month. This summer though I'd expect to see it over $125k.

There is no problem with that because every person can make their prediction about bitcoin price in the next month or this year.
You can share your prediction on your social media account and tell your follower how higher or lower the bitcoin price will be this year or in the next few months.
But to reach $125k in June 2021 will still mysterious to us since no sign shows us what will happen to bitcoin in the next 3 months.
We can better prepare by having many bitcoins from now on, so when the price can increase so high in any high price, we are ready to make a profit, and we can sell it at the current high price.

We really cant compare 2021 to 2017, we are experiencing a different wave of
investors, it isnt any longer all about OTC buyers, we have a lot of wealthy people
and corporations moving their wealth into Bitcoin to evade the upcoming inflation.
These investors are not selling at the end of the year like 2017, they are HODLing long term.

Look at PlanB's stock to flow chart and you will see that we can certainly
reach these highs this year.

I think confirmed it's ridiculous. The price will be closer to $10k by then, which I have proven using confirmed math and science. Marius' oversight is that he is not considering confirmed news of India banning bitcoin, plus bitcoin's failure as a currency. Eventually even Saylor will be forced to sell or else ruin his company, and that will push the price far below $10k. The short opportunity for bitcoin is perhaps the most obvious financial bet of the history of human Earth time.

I see all these comparisons to 2017, and I'm hoping we don't see a repeat of the aftermath--i.e., a crash that took a few years to recover from.  I hate to say it's different this time, because that's usually something idiots say, but there is a difference this time: we've got large, publicly-traded companies buying bitcoin in huge amounts, and they aren't likely to sell their stash anytime soon.  That certainly didn't happen back in 2017.  That bubble was driven by individual speculators and the ICO craze.

Now as far as this $125k prediction goes, I really don't think bitcoin is going to hit that level by June of this year.  If this bullish sentiment holds, it's possible that we could reach that level next year, but I think that kind of growth in three months would be way too much.  That would certainly be bubble territory.

I have seen this statement every time bitcoin hits a new all time high but it looks like the crash is not coming yet since Bitcoin continues to made ATH, and recently achieve it.

At first, I don’t believe that we will reach this far without experiencing big corrections, so I think $100k is more possible to happen before June, this is just an speculation though so anything can still happen.
