Joshua more than made up for his loss to Ruiz by dismantling him by outclassing him in the rematch, that cannot be denied but what Fury did to Wilder was fantastic and on a completely different level.

We have seen some upsets and Joshua has the tools to beat Fury. I think this is more of a mental game now, the fighter with the bigger heart have a high chance of winning. Although Fury is the favourite because of his demolition of Wilder, Joshua was proven himself as well when he extract his revenge against Ruiz Jr. So that alone tells us that Joshua has the heart of a champion.

If you talk about the heart of a champion Tyson Fury already displayed that, when you are against the fence how you overcome that and Fury showed in the first fight against Wilder when he was down and how he recovered and countered his attack and Joshua when he was against the fence against Ruiz he was not able to make any changes and showed the heart of a champion in the fight, in the rematch he won but not during the fight.

The overwhelming majority of voters here are going for Fury to beat Joshua twice and that speaks volumes about both fighters.

This is understandable especially with the demonstration Fury gave against Wilder, however even if I think Joshua will lose he will give a better fight than Wilder, Wilder is a one trick pony, he has a tremendous punching power but he needed certain conditions in order to unleash his full power, Fury realized he needed a lot of space to do so and that is why he was over him all the fight and easily beat him, Joshua is a more complete fighter and I expect a better fight from him, but Fury should still be the overwhelming favourite.

I think that any boxers will enter the weight loss phase every time they have an upcoming fight, we don't have to worry about Fury being fat because we know that he is going to loss that before going in and it is just a signing and there is no official date yet so there is still a lot of time to burn those.

But there is no exact fight date and Fury is already slim. Quite unexpected to see him like that. He is usually either fat on the fight day, or fat during week/months. Fury is usually belly-kind-a-fighter. But on tweeter photos he looks slim.

The fighters’ promoters now have until 12 April to announce the details of the fight, which is expected to take place in June or July.

The fight against Joshua is a high profile fight and i am sure he will not lapse that thinking that it is going to be an easy fight as a win against him will cement his legacy as the best Heavyweight of the generation and i am expecting a Tyson Fury in the best shape of his life.

They do really take this business seriously which they dont really allow for this fight to be giving out some small revenue in both sides and that might be probably the reason on why it is a blanked one where this isnt really finalized yet.

I think the Saudi's are offering a good purse to shift the fight to Saudi and they are probably looking for a venue in London as they know they can make a lot of money and the PPV buys alone will give them millions in profit. The negotiations in boxing usually sucks as both the promoters always want the bigger purse and so is the reason these big fights take a longer time to sign the contract.

He said it's not the right time, but when is the right time, we are uncertain when this pandemic will be stop, and people will continue to struggle due to the effect of pandemic which is more bigger as its affecting our economy. I guess he should just let the promoters do their job, the fact there was already a contract, that means they are trying their best to make it happen and achieve a good results.

As previously reported, both are guaranteed with $100 million each for this fight, but not sure if promoter can get that huge amount.

I disagree... If they do manage to get the fight going within 3 or 4 or 5 10 months because nobody is willing to pay the fighters the money then they are not obliged to fight each other.

The contract is only valid if they get a venue booked and someone is willing to pay them a guaranteed minimum upfront cash fund then the remainder of their salary will be received from shared revenue such as promotions, gate receipts (if spectators will be allowed in the venuw) and TV pay per view.

The revenue is confirmed 50% each for the first fight. It is also confirmed 60%-40% in the rematch.

That is guaranteed in the contract no matter what the actual prize fund will be but both fighters will be looking to pocket at least $100 million each from the country hosting the fight then over $66 million each from pay per view TV deals and then the same things happens again for the rematch.

The contract between Fury and Joshua states they have to find a mutually agreed venue within 30 days otherwise the deal is off and they are free to pursue other fights: Telegraph Sports Link

Words cannot describe the disappointment that the boxing world is going to go through if this fight does not take place, this is the kind of fight the boxing word needs right now, fans have been starving for a long time due to the pandemic, the interest was so strong that fans still paid a lot of money to see several of those exhibition fights, it is obvious there must be a market for a fight between two of the best heavyweight boxers around the world, and if the fight does not happen then I will have no option but to think one of the fighters is avoiding the other.

Yeah! Fury needs to step on the ring with this kind of opponent and this will be the fight of the year if there will be not many hugs in their fight. It should be a war in the ring until their last punches. Both fighters can knockout each other if they take each other power punches. I guess this year's boxing fights have a lot to offer than last year. I guess will finally winning this pandemic and everything has gone so smooth after they managed to discover the vaccine.

This is a sad news/update mate if this fights will not come to happen , Still hoping that before the exhibition between Cotto and Marquez this Fury vs. Joshua fight will be settled and done.
