As published by BBC, Elon Musk know for his mental and twitterial stability (wink wink), has now decided to crown himself under the title of "Technoking of Tesla". His chief financial officer will now be the "Master of the Coin", just like in GoT. This would be absolutely normal if they were playing a role game, however this is actually a SEC (Securities and Exchange Commision) filling, so him founding a new dynasty is official. If you are wondering WTF is this about, so is a Tesla investor that has sued Elon for "erratic and unlawful tweets". He is just probably investing in the wrong company anyway. This guy now holds a decent bag of bitcoin so my take is that these news, and what can be inferred insofar his brain functions, means even more volatility. But don't worry, volatility and inflation are both good... or so they say. Elon, immersed into his new role? Let the memes games begin.

It is all due to the influence and popularity he is having even before his engagement with cryptos. Not everyone are aware that there will be huge names to move towards crypto investment which is also the reason I think, his tweets are getting that much of attention from the audiences, as well as interpretations. Decisions of many investors are being affected probably because they are comparing or relying to the actions of "bigger investors". But given that there's no certainty regarding the price movement, investment decisions should be reliant to the investor alone and not by other people. We are all guessing what will happen next. Also, we do have different amount of tolerance and capital in crypto investment.

I did not think that Elon Musk, with his tweets on social networks, violates the instructions of cryptocurrency regulators, in particular the SEC. However, the investor who filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk for his indiscriminate statements, on 150 pages of his lawsuit in court, writes that Musk nevertheless violated the SEC's orders. Let's hope this lawsuit doesn't hurt Musk. Still, Musk raised people's interest in cryptocurrency, and the price of it, quite well. Elon Musk with humor and knows how to joke, let him have fun while.

looks like we've discussed it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5324134.0... it looks like the news about this will last for the next few days 'lol'. I personally don't think the title 'master of coin' deserves to be pinned on Zach Kirkhorn. Oh sorry, I did not drop by the BTC discussion section so thanks for pointing out. Anyway, there is a point on having this on the economy section, since this prank looks more of an statement towards the Wallstreet suits than to bitcoin itself.

I don't think Elon musk will allow that to go away within few days if he has such title. I believe he is going to ride on that a create more hype for himself and either doge or bitcoin. He might make a related tweet that will push the price.

He should be the master of coin too. I think that's a hint of master of dogecoin. As he's always active in twitter, whoever sues him through his tweets are mostly just going to end up accepting what he does. I did not think that Elon Musk, with his tweets on social networks, violates the instructions of cryptocurrency regulators, in particular the SEC. Take it the example of John McAfee before when he has introduced pump and dump scheme through his tweets.

Elon didn't. Elon does not say buy this shitcoin buy that shitcoin. As a matter of fact, I don't think he said buy DOGE. It's just that he's got millions of blind followers that whatever he tweets they are interpreted differently by them. I think Elon is very much aware of this and he seems to be enjoying fooling people around, posting one sarcastic tweet after another, one meme after another, and so on without ever clarifying or making disclaimers or warnings. And his followers are blindly taking these as cues and made financial decisions out of those. Imagine how absurd people are that when the rumor of Elon buying an actual Shiba Inu dog they started buying the SHIBA INU or SHIB shitcoin.

Exactly what I was saying in some other tweets on the forum. His interest in crypto has generated a buzz around it that in my opinion didn't do much for the current price, but did something for potential future investments that could come from some serious players. Let's not forget, for all his mental gymnastics, he is still one of the most influential businessmen today, and he is backing his bullshit and that appeals to a lot of his contemporaries that would like to follow his lead. There is no such thing as bad publicity. And regarding his shenanigans with his own company and products, let's not forget he renamed his flamethrower 'Not A Flamethrower' so he could bypass regulations. This ain't new to him.

But the thing is, there's a complain that looks at it as the same. We can classify that he's either serious or just trolling but not really giving the same advise as pumping altcoins like what John McAfee did before. And SEC is describing it as the same and that's how it goes.

Anyway, if I am not mistaken, John McAfee was never indicted for his tweets regarding cryptocurrency or shitcoin promotion. I'm not even sure if there's still an ongoing investigation over those shady tweets. Probably none anymore, especially now that he's already incarcerated on tax evasion grounds.

The guy has always been a weird one, he was never a normal person, well which normal person ends up building a space rocket and an electric car when no other focused on building one, and even other weird stuff he is doing right now. Those were seen as stuff that made him "revolutionary" but the reality is that he was just a weird guy and has always been one. Go watch any of his interviews and you will see how weird he is as well, it is not like he was ever known for being a regular person.
Crowning himself technoking, and naming his CFO master of coins was one of the most normal things he has ever done, there is nothing that is weird about this considering dude has sent space rockets into space and then landed them back on earth, that seems more weird, even the way he talks looks a bit weird and all the things he has tweeted even before crypto things started was weird as well.

His oddity has brought many changes, it cannot be denied that the technology developed by Tesla has made Tesla a pioneer in the automotive world. Likewise in the crypto world, where the only owner is enough to make DOGE Coin investors big profits and make dynamics in an already volatile market become very volatile lately. The tweets he makes always have an impact on the market and so does what he says in other media. We haven't seen any signs of deep correction at this point in the crypto market as well as one of the reasons for being Elon with all the issues he created.

Elon is like “whatever you may think, I’m buying that shit anyway” kinda attitude. So let’s not over exaggerate this topic. Elon has achieved many milestones in his life, he would care less about what people think or what lawsuit is put forth against him. His tweeting behaviour has always put everyone in baffling situation because they are either riddles, clues or result of something that is yet to happen. Elon is everything, he can influence any dam thing. Whether it is dustbin or skyrocket; he can turn them into millions like “this”.

The issue about John is that it has become a combination of his other faults that have been charged to him. And that's why those tweets that he has made before have been attached to him. And for Elon, this is going to be an easy thing for him. His influence is better than John and also his reputation.

He thinks differently that no one could ever imagine, he’ll buy things he wants especially if he believe on it. Despite of the hype he’s creating in cryptomarket, that can still benefit the whole of us because the adoption is growing. Though its too risky to join the hype on Doge but if you do know how to ride it well, you can be good. He can claim himself as Technoking anytime he wants and no one will compete with him, he tweets he make millions within an an hour, that how the king works.

Elon Musk is hilarious. Imagine the SEC and tesla shareholders shitting bricks everytime Elon Musk posts on social media. What a wild ride that must be.
They've tried to restrict his social media privileges to get him under control. But nope. Still running wild. Posting geeky inside jokes that make zero sense to anyone outside his inner social circle.
He works long days/nights and is probably chronically sleep deprived. It makes sense his social media postings wouldn't be the most coherent content out there.

I think someone already made a thread about Elon Musk become the Technoking of Tesla, you can see it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5315581.0It is no doubt that Elon musk can do anything with his money as he is now the richest person in the world and we are glad that he knew cryptocurrency. I am always proud about the success or achievement of other people especially that if he did that to help other people or to prove something to other people but still, congratulations to Elon Musk.
