Grayscale, the world’s largest cryptocurrency asset manager, has announced the launch of five new digital currency investment trusts to expand its offerings. The company now has a total of 14 investment products.

According to the official press release, Grayscale has expanded its portfolio with Basic Attention Token (BAT), Chainlink (LINK), Decentraland (MANA), Filecoin (FIL), and Livepeer (LPT) investment trusts. The cryptocurrency assets surged significantly following the news as BAT, FIL, and MANA jumped by more than 20% in the last 24 hours.

LPT is upped for 201% at the time of writing, good news to those alts listed.

Among the 5 projects chosen by Grayscale, the one that surprises me the least is (obv) 'link'. Despite this listing, this one remains (imo) largely underestimated and its price has been suppressed since a long time (when it will take off...omg).

Quite astonished to see bat in the list, given that brave is quite controversial (for various reasons)  .

Im so lucky never to try to sell my livepeer from the airdrop. It looks like grayscale may add more and more crypto that has the capability to be used as their investment trust. Grayscale was starting to do the massive expansion. BAT was also going up so hard caused by this news.
That's a big surprise to see that grayscale was seeing LPT. I can't even believe happen right now.

Well it's better if you could have invested prior to this news, LOL.

But yeah, it seems that Grayscale is expanding it's territories to other crypto as well, and for those who have bought it prior, I'm sure they are all very happy with the current surge in price.

And I think some of them have broken their previous all time high already. And interesting to see LPT though, but it is welcoming news for those bag holders.

It is like Elon Musk raising the dead dogecoin. I am sure both Grayscale and Musk made quite a few bucks having done that. I mean LPT, what is that? It was a token airdropped to many ETH holders long time ago. Crazy.
