I was using www.bitcoinker.com. For the last couple of days the website returns an error message "Error establishing a database connection". Can anyone tell me if it is a routine error message or something is not right.

I have not heard about this website.

I am also getting the same message when I tried to visit this website. This kind of error generally comes on website using wordpress CMS. It is a common error message which basically means that the website is broken.

I can only confirm you that the domain was bought in 2014 and will expire by end of this year. I cannot confirm you whether this website is legit or not as you have not told what service were you using from them.

It's either temporary downtime, or they simply shut down completely. As far as I know Bitcoin faucet sites are a dying niche so I really won't be surprised if it's the latter.

No posts in their social media accounts[1][2] since 2017 as well, so.. yea.

You will have to just wait it out until the site owner decides to fix the error. It seems temporary those I don't know whether they could notice and fix the problem as soon as possible

From the archived version of the site, there is this email contact@bitcoinker.com. Maybe you can try to write to them if it's urgent.
