A SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THOSE THAT APPRECIATED MY EFFORT

One thing in life is knowing that your actually adding value to someone else's life and be appreciated for it. When I first got here, of course I was introduced and I really felt I can't do coup but gradually, I'm getting accustomed to the ways of the forum and its becoming a fun thing to do.

Its also very nice to know that your being appreciated for your efforts and the forum has got ways to go about it, either by ways of quoted replies or if need be by means of meriting. Note quite long I celebrated with a forum user in Zilon and got noted by Lovesmayfamilis who provided the plane field for my ascension from my little effort to celebrate with another forum user as seen in this quote,

It's an achievement really, no matter  how low or slow it came. I'm looking forward  to attaining what you have now and soon, I'll be celebrating with the forum too. On this note, I tap into your grace and soon I'll be an encouragement to them that would need it.

which explains why my topic took this form. It feels really good and exciting to be finally growing in ranks and the knowledge cryptocurrency offers. I know I've got a long way ahead because there is still much to know and step by step I will fit into the culture of our beloved community.

If you plan on achieving the legendary rank then your journey has only begun and a lot of work, determination and patience are needed if you want to achieve it. but you don't have to worry about getting to the highest rank as fast as possible since this isn't race. Congratulation for your achievement. Remember if you try and always do it consistently then you will get there sooner or later. Now there are many goals that you have to achieve if ranking is one that you need. Here are the level rank you should reach next after this.

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:

Rank	Required activity	Required merit
Brand new	0	0
Newbie	1	0
Jr Member	30	1
Member	60	10
Full Member	120	100
Sr. Member	240	250
Hero Member	480	500
Legendary	Random in the range 775-1030	1000

And these are the basic guidelines that you must follow if you want to achieve all of them. So, never give up and convince yourself that you can do it. Something you do with confidence will make it a habit that will eventually work out well for you. Good luck because your journey in this forum is not only about money and rank and there are more important thing that you need to develop, namely knowledge.

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.
