Seems this is your first topic on the forum. So welcome to the board. Everyone suggesting their favorite coins, but I will say you need more time to learn about cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency doesn't mean that you will get profits upon investment. Reading forum posts would help you to gain more knowledge about crypto. Crypto is a currency where you would lose your portfolio as well. It's better to know first about the risk. To know about altcoins is more complicated I think. So first study about Bitcoin and how it's work actually. When you will be familiar with Bitcoin then it would easier to learn about other altcoins. Then you would realize where you need to invest. For now, I wouldn't suggest any altcoin for you except Bitcoin.

The best you should invest if this is your first time are those startup token. Try buy token on IDO, ICO or IEO for bonus token and also to benefit on the early price before the whales surge in to discover the price potential. Just make sure that the project is legit and backed up by well known project and VC to make sure that the project has a potential. Dude, you can't expect financial freedom with your money. what you can do to earn more in daily basis through trading or capital gain in long term through investing it into the legit coin.
You can start with the major coin that will give you guarantee for the liquidity and reputation.
I would never suggest you to join into the new coin and this can make you lose your money dude.
Be careful with any investment these days and there are lots of scam project. Ethereum, bnb and many more can be considered as legit coin to be used as investment but you can't expect huge ROI for your money from these coins.
