well the cache is 37 mb for each cpu.

so it means you will only run 15 threads for each cpu. maybe you can do 17.

as 2mb minimum for each thread. if you do xmr.

the best case would be say 68 threads 🧵.

I have a  ryzen with a 128mb cache it does about 29000 hash which is around $1.50 a day.

maybe you do 33000 hash and $2.00 a day.

note i do not know if you can get all four cpus to mine at the same time.

but it is cheaper than i paid for my ryzen 3790 threadripper and earns a little more.
i think it burns a lot more power.

And the Threadripper CPU costs more than a GPU which can give you more than 2$ per day, why the heck are people building CPU mining rigs? They aren't worth it to begin with, GPUs all the way

Trolling?

People aren't building CPU mining rigs, they're building mining rigs that include a CPU also capable of mining.
The only cost is the incremental cost of a bigger CPU.

Regarding the performance of the Xeon quartet I expect it would underperform the TR-3970X due to a lower clock
rate. Also need to consider that a 4 CPU system does not perform nearly as well as 4 seperate systems.

They're also a pain to maintain unless you're an experienced systems admin.

These systems only existed because CPUs couldn't keep up with processing demand, similar to SLI & Crossfire for GPUs.
All of them are essentially obsolete now. Desktop CPUs now have 64 cores and GPUs can now do 8K gaming.

Monero (XMR) mining profitability calculator

Monero continues to use the botnet network for mining, so it will be difficult to compete with hackers.
They don't buy processors or pay for electricity.
