Here are my opinions on how the games will play out

Yes Manchester City are favourites but I think there is another dynamic to think about.

Either Leicester or Southampton will play the final against either Chelsea or Manchester City and as underdogs they will not feel the pressure as much as the other team.

In FA Cup finals I always root for the underdog and right now I hope Southampton get to win the FA Cup 2021

Tuchel has turned things around for Chelsea. Full credit to him because Lampard lost the dressing room but Tuchel has won the players over, they believe in his footballing philosophy.

He is playing with the same team that Lampard had but has transformed them in to serious contenders for a top 4 Premier League finish. They are in the FA Cup semi-final and in the quarter-finals of the European Champions League. Chelsea still have a lot to play for thanks to the arrival of Tuchel as their manager.

And the blues prove they are becoming a formidable team.

Tuchel said he wants to build a team other teams will be scared of playing.

That sub was superb.
I am loving this man more daily.
I hope when he starts to have a little winning issue, they let him be.
Chelsea needs a long-term coach and I believe Tuchel is the man.

It was a deserved victory for Tuchel side who dominated proceedings from the very first minute till the end in what was a shambolic performance by Manchester city players who looked out of sorts and weary. Ziyech goal was enough to seal the tie after 2 offside calls had Chelsea goal chucked off. I think Leicester will oust Southampton tomorrow. A Chelsea vs Leicester city final is on the cards.

It was a surprising result for me. Even though Chelsea is a top team, I was predicting that Manchester City would be the better team and they would win this game.

Chelsea Win 1 - 0 From Southampton, But somehow I firmly believe that it is Southampton or Leicester City who will win the FA Cup. Especially for Leicester City who always plays at full strength in important matches.

Even so, Chelsea only lost Charly Musonda, who is not a regular player.

The winner of the semi-final today will play in the final against Chelsea.

I think Southampton will pull a surprise victory here and make it to Wembley when most people would be expecting Leicester City to win the game comfortably. It is the FA Cup after all and it is known for having a few upsets every season

Yeah, they really did a good job against City in this huge game. Although City rotated the squad a little, they had many main players playing in this game. Fa Cup is a very important and a prominent tournament for the English clubs. I've no doubt that Chelsea are very content with this result.

Also it’s pertinent to note that Leicester have made it to 4 FA cup finals but yet haven’t won the cup, hence this is an excellent chance for them to win it.

Congratulations on the success of leicester city this season which won the FA trophy, tonight's match was really very thrilling especially when the Chelsea players scored and everyone thought this match would be continued with an additional 15x2 time but it turned out that the goddess of luck tonight was really on her side in leicester city, so in the end the goal was declared invalid by the referee (after seeing VaR) because several Chelsea players had been caught offside first, and of course the FA Cup this season is the first trophy for Leicester City during the competition and of course a pride in itself for Brendan Rodgers who also won his first trophy with the leicester after arriving in winter 2019.

Chelsea woke up feeling Super, hoping to win the FA cup. They were so optimistic of it, even before the match that they let a mid-table Arsenal defeat them, preserving their stars for the celebrations today.

I think that no matter how sophisticated the technology is applied in a sport of course it has many shortcomings but at least it can help the game be fairplaythan what happened a few years ago , I think the Chelsea players and fans shouldn't be too sad to lose the FA Cup, because now it is better to focus on facing the remaining EPL matches and also the Champions League final on the 30th and it is said that if UEFA has decided to move the final to Porto, in my opinion the Champions League cup is the king of trophies of all football competitions in the world and of course the Champions Cup more highly prestigious than the FA Cup .

A bitter moment must have been felt by Chelsea and their fans after losing the FA Cup final to Leicester City, in my opinion many people did not expect the defeat of Chelsea who were seeded and also dominated the game but lost.
What Chelsea defeat is a strategy so that it won't be read in the Champions League final because Thomas Tuchel is more focused on the Champions League final later.

I had commented that the problem with chelsea Is that they waste a lot of opportunities to score goals, and in most games that they lose the same thing happens: chelsea enters the game playing well, chelsea misses opportunities to score goals and the game ends with the defeat of chelsea. Three FA cup final defect for Chelsea in the last 5 years and 8 final lost from 11 in the last decade its ridiculous how they keep getting to the final only to lose it, with Chelsea current form they are likely going to lose the champions league as well. Yes, they dominated the possession but the attacking and finishing has been poor from the past 3 games. The officiating was poor but nobody stops you from scoring a goal when u had the chance.

this season is a beautiful season for lecester city, besides being able to win against chelsea in the FA final, leicester should be proud of course because in the previous match, leicester city also won the match against Manchester United and automatically secured tickets for the Champions League next season.

It was an absolute brilliant goal, not lucky or anything else. Chelsea were punished by a determined and focused Leicester team that refused to be beaten and refused to be outplayed and refused to surrender to a bigger more powerful team in Chelsea.

Well done to Leicester again for the victory but on current form it looks like Manchester City will easily beat Chelsea in the Champions League final.

I can't say anything about Italy, but it's true that the CL decisions are basically better, although there have been critical decisions that could be reconsidered in the last two years. But I can say that the quality of VAR in Germany is similarly bad as in England. Originally, the idea was that the VAR should only intervene in the case of a grossly wrong decisions. Such offside decisions, where only a knee or hand are just offside, are not gross decisions and should not concern the VAR at all.

It is clear the players are not happy, they need a real experienced manager that has a proven track record or they need a manager that has not won anything but has a tactical approach befitting a club of the stature of Manchester United... maybe Mauricio Pochettino will fit the bill because he was long touted as a possible manager and with stories of unrest at PSG and him not being happy there, it might be the case he will be appointed Manchester United manager before the beginning of next season.

Aston Villa are heading in the right direction, they have Gerrard as their manager and seem to be playing good football but in the end he needs his team to win matches or he will be sacked.

@JollyGood a lot is being written about player’s unhappiness here, but why is no one saying about these player’s that they’re just not good enough for the club anymore. Also if you want names look at Rashford how is he in the playing 11, and with all those sloppy passes Fred is yet in the team, so Ralf needs to start axing non performing player’s and then only will we see the old attacking Manchester United spirit back.

I am no expert but I think you could be correct - some of the players are simply not good enough to play for Manchester United. Also, how can they perform at a high level when they feel no motivation for a manager who is there until the end of the season? It is not easy for the interim manager Rangnick and it is not easy for the players too.

Tuchel had no connection or history with Chelsea when he walked in the Chelsea dressing room as a new manager after Lampard was sacked but the players believed in him and went on to win the Champions League. Look at Rangnick, he has no connection at all to the Manchester United history and the team are failing therefore it simply shows Tuchel to be a real world class manager whereas Rangnick was overrated with nothing of substance behind him.

The players gave up on Solskjaer and now they are giving up on Rangnick. I think that the game should give hope to ManUnited fans. ManUnited played well and was unlucky in some situations. Ronaldo's penalty should have been converted. Just like two good chances by Bruno Fernandes in the last 20 minutes of the game. If he would have converted a chance, Middlesborough would have been unable to counter anything, as they only worked defensively. Chelsea and West Ham United are through to the 5th round of the competition. Both of the Premier League teams were pushed to the end by the much smaller teams in lower divisions and only won their games after extra-time.

Plymouth were beating Chelsea 0-1 but Chelsea equalised taking the game to extra-time. They scored again to beat Plymouth 2-1.

Kidderminster Harriers are in the 6 tier of the lower leagues and they were winning the game 1-0 until West Ham equalised in the 90+1 minute forcing the game in to extra time adding another 30 minutes to make the game go on until 120 minutes plus time added-on. Then West Ham scored the winner in the 120+1 minute. So close for Kidderminster.

I am always surprised that coaches again and again think they can make some experiments against second league teams. Of course Manchester played at home, stadium was full, but why risk to change the goalkeeper that night? Not that he is to blame to have lost the penalty shootout, but I believe that Rangnick won't remain the coach when this season ends. He is supposed to become a consultant, yes, but there was also the option on the table for him to remain the manager. I think that option is now pretty much gone. No matter how unlucky Manchester United was on Friday, it is not pleasant to the ears that Middlesbrough eliminated Manchester United in FA Cup. Things have really fallen apart in old Trafford. Luton Town put up a show at home for Chelsea and welcome the blues with a stunning performance, they played well and deserved the two goals scored. It wasn't an easy win for Chelsea but i think it will disappointing for Chelsea to loose at this stage to a lower division team. Norwich also gave Liverpool a though game but Liverpool had to progress to the next quarter finals no matter what.
It was a disappointing night for the Hammers and a disappointing result as well after being eliminated by Southampton with 2 late goals.

The result was fair enough, they were just as strong but Liverpool were able to take advantage of Man City's lack of let-up.  I think Man City should immediately focus on the EPL and UCL titles. Actually I saw Pep deliberately change his line-up. They feature a player who is not used to being a stater. The decision became a failed strategy, even Zack Steffen made a blunder so that Mane was able to make a goal easily. I think Liverpool will play Chelsea in the final.

It's most certainly not Liverpool manipulating the results in their favour, but rather that the current VAR system is terribly implemented, and the referees aren't consistent at all. The annoying part is that a VAR type system called TMO in rugby has been in effect for years, and generally is pretty damn good. So, we know we can make it work, but the way it's implemented needs to change.

However, having said that I do agree with you Chelsea seem to have our number this season. You could argue the game in the Premier League where there was a red card for one of the Chelsea defenders, they also had our number there too.

Right now Liverpool are in a position to win 4 major trophies but this is the only opportunity remaining for Chelsea therefore I think Chelsea will not allow Liverpool to dominate the game. Tuchel will go for an all-out attacking team because the pressure will be on Liverpool to try to make history with an unprecedented quadruple. We were in a worse state than we are now when we played out a draw in the league cup; the only issue going into the FA cup game now is Kante; he's been having a difficult game time due to Ramadan fasting, and he hasn't been himself; we've had some midfield challenges recently; however, I believe we will give it our all this time because this is our only chance of winning a trophy this season. I know some might think it's corruption, and to be honest with some of the decisions, even when they're looking at still images, and have all the tools at their disposal, some of the decisions are absolutely baffling, even leaving the commentators baffled.

So, I do get that, but really I just think the people behind VAR, and the decisions need to be held accountable. After all, if a player cheats or a manager cheats they'll have it in the neck. There needs to be some sort of responsibility when making game changing decisions. Especially with VAR as it takes some of that pressure off that could be excused in the past when a ref makes a bad decision in real time.

I agree, Liverpool cannot be blamed for anything related to the past VAR decisions because they were taken by referees but having said that they had to take the good decisions with the bad like all the other teams.... not all decisions went their way. Call it incompetence or negligence, the problems that teams face when VAR makes a wrong decision can be huge especially if promotion, relegation and finals/semi-finals are at stake. There should be a much greater scrutiny of VAR when they get it wrong.

Maybe with time as we move further in to the VAR era and the technology improves, the remote referees just might be held to account when they get it badly wrong.

Why does VAR appear to be inept whenever Liverpool plays,    and the majority of VAR decisions favor them? If it's not a case of corruption or an inside job, I'm at a loss for what else to say.

Neither seen nor heard a ref that was held accountable for a bad decision that ruined a game, the only thing we hear is an apology. The ref who ended the game in the 85th minute during the AFCON is still officiating games, with no penalty or action taken against him. FIFA officials are among the most well-protected individuals on the planet.

I think as it evolves the pressure will be applied on them to face scrutiny and that should help minimise errors on their part. Liverpool have already won the EFL Carabao Cup and are in the champions league final but that should not give them excuses to allow Chelsea to win easily. It will be a good match to watch but after all Chelsea have been through this season, if they win the FA Cup and finish 3rd in the premier league it will be an excellent season for them.
