IMO,  I think that trading is learned and more professional than gambling.  It is believed that if you learn trading,  you can do better than someone who did not  learn it but just trades on the market.  But gambling is strictly looked at as a lucky game.  I remember in time ago when gambling has not become popular,  it was usually referred to as lucky deep.  That is the classification of gambling. it is believed to be unprofessional although the times are changing.

Depends on what kind of gambling. In a game like poker you are looking at something quite similar to trading, sure even in poker we are talking about luck, a newbie could have a four of a kind versus phil helmuth and could beat him straight up, but in a 20 hand game he is going to beat you even with that lucky hand. This is why I think it's obvious that poker could be like trading, they are very similar, and in both of them you can build a strategy as well as you can for decades but luck plays a role however experience still can recover faster and get better, and veterans can create their own luck out of nothing as well.

But, if we are talking about something like roullette? dice? plinko? Those are nothing like trading, those are just house edge games that are designed to make you lose and that's it, so I do agree that they are two very different things and trading is a lot better if you learn how to do it.

I agree on this one on why it would really be needed up to choose among the two when it comes on being lucrative.

Its clear that trading would really be that worth since this is a thing that can really give you out the probabilities or chances to sustain yourself in long term runs rather than or compared to gambling.

Dont try to compare the two when you are really looking on lucrative part because the answer is pretty obvious for this one.It is just on how you do treat up each one of them.

In simple words - Day Trading

Reasoning: Basically with gambling, you either lose or win but with day trading you can at least wait for few extra days and the market might recover. It is always better to give yourself higher chances and trading already fulfills that.

Another disadvantage with gambling is that you play against the house that not only has a massive bankroll but also has the edge against you mathematically. In trading you are not trying to win against someone, instead, you are trying to read and analyze the market. Gambling is better for those who are sports bettors and know how to minimize the edge by their analysis of the matches.

Day trading all the way, I mean any rational mind will choose day trading any time of the day against online gambling. Online gambling relies on luck and probability and those things are low when you are a player and when you lose that's about it, yes there are wins and if you know when to quit you might be able to make some profit but not everyday is a winning day for gambling and in the long term you aren't getting any growth in your money. Surely gambling is more lucrative but not everything that is more lucrative is better. Gambling and trading are two very different prospects because while one focuses on earning money (trading) the other is meant for fun and spending money (gambling) and if you are comparing them as money-making sources, then surely gambling is not fun for you which is disastrous in the loing term.

Day trading is a very appropriate and very good choice rather than having to gamble online. I never touched gambling, just a few comments and never played it.
Every day I trade and get some profit.

Day trading also requires technical analysis and fundamental knowledge. Analysis must be done, charts must be considered. Day trading is carried out continuously. Take small profits but as often as possible.

I feel like slots are my thing, that's a lot more fun, I gamble both with real money when I have it (crypto of course) and if not I just play on my phone because there are apps that you play and it has fake money so it's still fun. I also do not like the person I turn into when I am investing, because at the end of the day I get scared, stressed, paranoid and many other things when I am trading and it really turns me into a depressed person all around even if I make money.

Well, you have a point there --trading is less risky and I think also a lucrative one.
Because for me, gambling is based on luck that the chances of winning will perhaps very slim while trading there are chances that could be your skills and knowledge will improve. However, there's nothing different between them when we talk about risk but if we are talking about improvement skills and knowledge there is a possibility that it will be improved.

Gambling and trading are two different activities with both having different purpose in an individual life, in trading you are doing it with the sole aim of making profit's, while in gambling you gambling to have fun and at the same time make some money but the fun in playing the gambling games make it different from trading to me.

No doubt both mode of making money are very different but many don't seem to agree with that, they misunderstand speculators to traders that's why they feel trading is more of gambling than actually studing and utilizing your knowledge of the market to your advantage.

With trading we have more of skills, knowledge acquired (which is experience) and some little bit of luck factor been on your side to be able to  profit while gambling strictly had to do with luck.

You just made a nice summary of the both. I rather trade than gamble although both involves proper risk management. But with proper analysis trading could be more profitable than gambling. Despite the technique adopted to predict a sports game or a casino there is every tendency that the games might be manipulated or even higher chances that the weaker opponents might end up getting more prepared than the stronger thereby making many loosing out of their prediction. For me trading is best because you might close a position if the market goes against your prediction with incurring a complete loss of fund. But to be successful in trading prior knowledge and well structured strategies has to be put in place for massive returns
