Hello guys,

I was trying to figure out how to buy cryptocurrencies with Payoneer card? Which exchange does accept Payoneer MasterCards? I was trying to link to the CEX but it didn't work. I heard same thing for Binance.

Anyone had experience buying crypto with Payoneer?

Thanks

I think Payoneer card is a prepaid card and I think most of the exchange doesn't accept prepaid cards to buy crypto or bitcoin.

The only option that I know you can buy BTC with Payoneer is on a P2P exchange like Paxful.

Oppsss. It seems that Binance accepting Payoneer card according to the post from this https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/g14bn8/buying_btc_with_payoneer/
I'm sure you will need to be KYC verified before you can buy BTC with Payoneer card.

Being able to use your prepaid card to buy bitcoins is something but what's going to happen to your Payoneer account is something else.
This payment processor doesn't accept any transaction in connection with digital currencies and more precisely cryptocurrencies included.

It's what is written on their user agreement

Quote
It is strictly forbidden to make or receive payments as consideration for or in connection with:

 Sale and exchange of currency, including digital and crypto-currencies;

It's perhaps why it didn't work with Cex

And after looking at their community board this rule seems to be valid again at this time

- https://community.payoneer.com/en/discussion/52740/can-i-sell-my-bitcoin-and-get-payd-via-payoneer-if-not-why-can-you-show-me-the-policy-it-violates
- https://community.payoneer.com/en/discussion/68817/which-merchants-are-whitelisted-for-buying-btc-with-our-card

Notice in the discussion a staff member is saying the same.

So be careful if you still take the risk, because if they suspend your account you will never be able to open a new one to receive your affiliate payment or whatever you do with it (salary, reward,...).

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the answers I really appreciate.

I tried buying on Binance with Payoneer and it didn't work. It seems that you cannot do that except the method that @BitMaxz described which is what many people used that after my research.

And yeah, didn't know that you actually risk the Payoneer account if you try to do this, not trying it until I find the right method.

Thanks for the links guys.

Just avoid carrying out any transactions between Payoneer card and cryptocurrencies and lot for better alternatives supported by exchanges. Someone had a similar question in regard to buying crypto on binance using the card in their community, but the admin said it was a prohibited transaction just a month ago

Quote
Hello to you!

At this time, the card cannot be used to buy cryptocurrency from any site. This is even listed as a prohibited transaction in our terms and conditions.

Thank you!

it certainly won't help you in Payoneer->Bitcoin conversion. LeGaulois already says and quote, not to repeat the same. Hardly anyone will take the risk if this type of transaction is strictly prohibited by Payoneer.
as everywhere, you have legal services and those fake who will try to deceive you. the same is true with p2p or any other type of exchanger.

If your Bitcoin buying using Payoneer money is only the current case, I mean one transaction, I suggest you try to make a deal on currency exchange section. I have already seen similar offers there.

Just be careful even an exchange allows you to buy crypto with your Payoneer debit card. Once a time I was looking for the same services. But after deep research, I discover that Payoneer will disable your account immediately when they will notice that you have used the card to buy crypto. So, make sure before use Payoneer to buy crypto, you may ask support to know more details. So the only safe option is to exchange Payoneer with a local seller or exchange peer to peer. So, Payoneer would detect that card being used to buy crypto. Don't take a risk with your Payoneer card since it's not very easy to get one.

OP, like @examplens suggested, a P2P trade between two parties in the forum would probably be OK. Make sure you use an escrow service to carry out your transaction so that you avoid getting scammed.

For example this person wants to exchange his USDT for payoneer. You could carry out a trade with him via a trusted escrow service in the forum to ensure you are not scammed and at the end of the trade, you have the USDT while he gets the money through payoneer. You can then transfer the USDT to an exchange of your choice to purchase BTC.

Payoneer will never know you bought crypto using their service. All they will see is a transfer of funds from a personal account to another.

If they found out I think they'll still consider it as a violation of their service though. Honestly, I won't try to do it if my Payoneer account is important, and would rather use a service like Advcash if I really need a card for crypto. On top of that, card transaction has a very high fee. OP, I think doing P2P deals via bank transfer or something similar is probably cheaper compared to direct card transactions.

Feel free to try the as.exchange for buying Bitcoin with Payoneer card, where you can place your Bitcoin buy or sell order and users from other places would see it and make a trade with you. While there are other venues also where you could do that, as.exchange is the only one with 0.00% fees and BTC network fees compensation. And would certainly appreciate your feedback and recommendations if you would have any Smiley
