All these are because of breaking the strongest resistance levels around 2000 dollars, which was the level that we have never seen before in ETH ever, not in 2017 peak times not last year, not anytime. We are talking about nearly 15x increase in the past 1 year, that is really not normal when you consider that ethereum was second highest coin and we have managed to actually make a 15x increase in the second biggest one. Why is it more shocking when it is second highest coin?

Because in order to be the second biggest coin you need to actually have some sort of huge price anyway, and if you are already super high and second that means it should be a lot harder for you to increase as well, and when you are that big and still go 15x that is normally unheard of specially when we are talking about 200+ billion dollars market cap. If ETH goes up another 5x that would mean it would break over bitcoin as well, not that I think it will happen but even being this close means a lot.

I have been holding ETH for a long time, so if you count the time I was in loss and in profit I have still spent much more time in loss than in profit (but this will change this year as long as price never goes down below $500 again).

Never been a huge fan but I was convinced by the proof and what numbers were shown by Ethereum. You have to hand it to them. Great project with solid devs.

Precisely because Ethereum has been a solid project for years and has proven more than once that someone who trusts in this project can earn a lot is the most important argument for me not to sell it. I think it is worth keeping Ethereum despite the falling price, because after the introduction of Ethereum 2.0 the price will definitely go up very high.

Add to that the fact that I initially distrusted them because of the DAO,,, and only when they came back down from their ATH did I change my mind about them. I still dont know why people are doubting ETH . It is an amazing coin and second largest currently. You are right once the fee gets lowered down i think the price will skyrocket then even more. I see it now going to 2500$ and maybe correcting back to 2000$ not below for sure

$2500 is going to be the next target as it's able to get on $2100. And there is no question that $2500 is going to be seen for Ethereum anytime soon.
You guys are right about solving the high transaction fees. When it's done, then that will make Ethereum more worth it and people will be back on it and won't worry about the fees which will make the demand even higher as it is today.

No reason to panic if the market reacts that way, when it pumped people are overjoyed when it dumped people get very fearful. If you’re in crypto for years these things will be completely normal, but its okey if you take profit but don’t sell at loss if you have goals.

Add $500+ to the $1500, ethereum just registered it's new all time high which was unexpected for many  but with the stimulus paychecks coming in and more institutional investors continuing to join the crypto world everything points to the moon and tbh crypto is here to stay no need to find an exit door like you put it because of fear of the future. Give crypto the benefit of the doubt and see where it takes us.

Yes, agree. Ethereum is still strong no matter what. It's still dominating and not want to hold back. It's only just a correction and we should always
know why ethereum falling fast and not only eth but also all the altcoins they have correction and reset.
I'm a big fan of ethereum but I think they need to figure out how to minimize their gas fee. It's really hurting people when they use their ecosystem.
As you can see now, ETH breaks another milestone with $2,100 mark.

I bought some Ethereum when it was around $200 before, around last year. I have already taken profits partially when it was reach around $1,000+ before from the Ethereum I bought when it was $200.
With these recent dump, it is still ok, nothing to worry and panic.

I do not see anything surprising in the record price of ethereum and the price of $ 2100 is not the limit. I believe that at current levels, ethereum is undervalued and there is a reserve for price growth in relation to bitcoin at least twice more. If bitcoin can stay at its current levels for some time, then it is very likely that ethereum will grow even more, and then most of the other alternative cryptocurrencies will grow.

actually the likelihood that they will reach $2500 very soon is high. instead of going down. eth reached more than 2k not even a month the OP posted his query.
with this upcoming hard fork in couple of weeks, we may see another ATH for eth. i hope eth devt team will not fail their supporters and really present some improvements on their network.
eth is one of the worthwhile projects here, as the team is really working on their advancement of the network. hope they will deliver something very soon...

First time I ever got bitcoin it was 150 dollars, it dropped to 100 dollars and I felt super scared, for me that was a lot of money because I was a kid at the time and that is why I think I got super scared. Nowadays bitcoin could become 5k in a month and I would be fine, ethereum could be 100 and I would be fine as long as it is there I know it will go back up.
