You can invest in bitcoin as in ethereum and you will realize that the entire market partly depends on the price of bitcoin. There are some coins that due to their development and use cases have had great benefit in this bull run and it should be so.

Bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies as some members have opined. Regarding NFTs, ethereum has a large market but there are other networks like Avalanche where you can also create NFTs. If you are interested I share a link.

For long term, invest on bitcoin, if you want to make profit for short term, invest on ETH.

Bitcoin can also be profitable for short-term investments. -10% today, +20% tomorrow

Not too long ago, I managed to profit around $150 by hodling it for around 1 week.

Both of them are good for short term and long term investment and you can blindly invest in anyone of them or both depending upon your budget.
For mid term holding i will recommended ethereum as ethereum can 2x from here near the release of eth 2.0.

IMHO, I believe if you have enough money or capital to invest in bitcoin well thats the best thing to do because Bitcoin is the most popular and most attractive cryptocurrency to invest in right now, Just think and considered that Bitcoin is already a trillion-dollar market cap plus more and more mainstream businesses are joining into the Bitcoin bandwagon, and the most popular one is the Elon Musk company called Tesla so for me it is a good decision to invest in Bitcoin while picked Ethereum as a backup investment but just focus on Bitcoin.

I'd go for Bitcoin if you want big profits in the long run, but also know the risk as well. Bitcoin can give you indeed big profits but can give you huge dumps and pumps in the long run that might make you panic and sell in FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) that'll make you lose your profits. However, if you know how Bitcoin and the market works, I guess you should be fine on hodling Bitcoin.

So yes, overall Bitcoin is the best investment you could do while you sleep to earn money. Just make sure you have the perseverance to wait for the right time for you to sell it.

Why not both? If you look at the marketcap, Ethereum has 200 Billion dollars in it and Bitcoin has 1 trillion. If you think about it, it might be possible for Ethereum to at least touch 500 billion since Bitcoin proved that it is achievable. Same with Bitcoin, 2 trillion isn't impossible since there's still more room for growth and more rich people waiting to invest.

Although you have to consider that Ethereum doesn't have supply cap so there's going to be more supply in the future which means lower demand and price.

Yes I would consider it smart to invest in both of them they are both good in long term investment and could give a good profit to their holders.

They are both good for investment and definitely a smart thing to do.
is NFT (non-fungible tokens) are really good and proven already? That is something we need to find out before we decide to leave Bitcoin or ETH and switch to NFT. I know it was a practical way to choose which one will give us more profit and which is not. And we have no right to stop you from that but first, we have to know more about the project that we are going to move in just to acquire some assurance.

Both are good coin. But Bitcoin is the most potential and too good coin in the present time. Personally i think that when Bitcoin price start rising then Ethereum price also start rising. Precisely in fact having the two cryptocurrency, the dominant crypto which is bitcoin and the top altcoin exist which is ethereum is in fact a must have kind of cryptocurrency that everyone was dreaming to have in their digital or hard wallet. Both are worth it to invest with and with promising good returb of investment but this ROI only depends on how you would manage to trade your cryptocurrencies. Also, i couldn't take why such an ethereum has a high gas fee.

Same goes Ethereum dude. ETH can grow to x10 if BTC can go that far since its price is correlated on Bitcoin price  plus ETH price is already at the current peak meaning there's no exact future price that we can predict. Your best chance to earn x10 or more is to invest on startup project like DeFi. You can't expect to have an exponential profit for coin that already discovered by everyone. You need to find hidden gem for worthit profit.

I'd invest 50% in Bitcoin and 50% in Ethereum just to make sure I don't miss the movement on one side if one of them went more parabolic than the other one.

It's better not to insist on investing on one asset even if it's Bitcoin, Diversifying helps you to be more calm when when one of your bought assets is going down, even lower cap altcoins are good options to add to your portfolio, of course you should not go overboard with investment on them since they are more risky but it could help you to get a nice boost on your portfolio in this altseason to have 10-15% low cap quality altcoins with potential.

I think it is very smart to invest in both bitcoin and ethereum because they have a future. Bitcoin was originally invented as a digital store of value and also a payment system. the ethereum was invented as a global computer to handle smart contracts, it has so many good projects going on such as Decentralized Finance known as (Defi), Non-Fungible Tokens known as NFTs, and finally but not least, they are moving to ETH 2.0 (Proof-of-Stake) Blockchain.

I take the floor in particular, in a book that I read called "The little book that still beats the market" they emphasize that to choose the best investment option, a study and possible scenario must be done in 5 to 10 years, the most difficult to determine is which action will be safe and which will not, in this case it is fully applicable to the crypto market because Bitcoin is a safe investment, whether it goes down or not, it is the king currency and the one that will always guarantee profits after the Time, the other cryptocurrencies will follow their path, but the safest of all is BTC, in my personal opinion, it can diversify a bit with ETH which is considered the 2nd best currency.

I've moved some Bitcoin into Ethereum as I think Ethereum is one step ahead in the environmental game with the less energy intensive Proof of Stake.

When covid is over, there will be a lot of environmental protesters, Extinction Rebellion etc. champing at the bit and Bitcoin will be high on the agenda.

^ That is definitely a good idea, investing both of them (BTC and ETH) is the best choice, you can not only focus on the one coin because both of them are potential can gain profit in the future. I saw BTC is good for storing value, in a long term there would be your profit and it is guaranteed that the x10 of making a profit will absolutely easy. ETH will probably be good for NFT's projects when volume 2.0 will successfully be launched, through a smart contract that ETH has it becomes useful. Probably it will be fixed at the time regarding the high fees that on ETH that we currently faced.

Stick with Bitcoin but if you can risk up more funds or tend to diversify then why not have both? When it comes to investment then nothing beats out when you do just simply
stick with the best and other which are on high ranks.It might not be a guaranteed success or profit but at least you are confident at little bit that you are on the right side.
Just always remember on that golden rule which is "invest on the amount that you can afford to lose" and you wouldnt be finding any problems with that.

Currently it is better for me to invest in Ethereum. The price of Bitcoin is very high at present. Ethereum is supposed to be above 3000 according to him. At present Ether 1700. Considering all the aspects, I would say it is better to invest in Ether.
