If anyone wants to check out what the hottest-selling NFT brands currently are, I recommend checking out:

https://www.cryptoslam.io/

They rank the top 50 or so NFT projects by sales volume. As expected, 8 of the top 10 are hosted on Ethereum, while the #1, NBA Top Shots, is hosted on the Flow blockchain (which is highly centralized and I don't think is in it for the long haul.

The #9 spot in the top 10 is occupied by the Street Fighter II series, which is hosted on the WAX blockchain. If you hadn't heard, WAX is coming up fast, thanks to NFT series releases by Topps, Atari and now Capcom. I recommend giving it a look as it is not yet a top 100 coin by market cap, but will be soon (IMHO, don't @ me).

If you want to check out a WAX-specific NFT marketplace, I would give this website a browse, there's a lot going on; a lot of cheap NFTs that can be transacted cheaply:

https://nfthive.io/

Honestly speaking until now it's not clear to me why or how those NFT's has gained too much value which already reaches millions of dollars, My interesting question is where the NFT's or Non-fungible tokens demand came from? It's not clear to me thats why I'm afraid that it was another hype or a bubble that waiting to be burst in no time, just like Defi's in its early stage that resulting in huge losses to many users and investors. But still, I'm open and interested to learn more about NFT's to gain a better understanding of them.

Don't buy digital arts if you can't use it. Look, game items are valuable because players can wear them, increasing stats/power, or whatever. If you plan to collect NFT, consider something that can give you some power-up (advantage) in gaming, trading, etc. Not just some random digital arts, because what stops them from reproducing the art if it's not written a legit (legal) contract.

Thanks for the tip. I think I'll dive more into in-game items, as they're prone to become much more valuable over time. I don't think digital art will be going anywhere, since they can easily be extracted from the web for free. It's crazy to see people pouring millions of dollars into a digital art or painting that's "immortalized" on the Blockchain. It shows us the immaturity of the crypto/Blockchain space. Eventually, people will learn that not everything is meant to be an NFT. Who knows what the future of the industry will be as government regulations come into play?

All in all, it seems to me that CryptoKitties, and virtual properties on Decentraland are best suitable as a long term investment. The NFT space is still new, so we're going to have to wait and see if other companies join the scene to bring truly-valuable NFTs worth the investment. Time will tell us whenever this will turn out a success or a failed experiment. Just my thoughts Grin

At the moment all is hype with NTF. I have done a few posts that speak about the market for NTFs here, here and here.

After thinking about it, my conclusion is that NTFs have only a real value if they confer the owner some short of exclusive right over the use of certain asset, tool, property, etc...

Example: Anyone can use the image of a Beeple whose NTF sold for 69M USD. However if you buy certain Skin on any of the chains used in videogames it is yours exclusively to use. The first one is worthless, the second has some value.

I know the NFT market is quite a risky one, as "not all that glitters is gold". Yet, I've seen many people making millions of dollars in an instant by selling highly-demanded NFTs. The NFT hype sparked my curiosity, as I became interested on making money buying and selling digital art, in-game items, paintings, etc. As far as I'm aware, CryptoKitties are one of the best NFT investments you could make right now since they tend to appreciate in value over time. Still, I'm eager to know which other NFTs are worth it as a long term investment.

Any help, suggestions, and/or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
*CryptoKitties? isn't their bounty program a problem, I have yet to get paid from their bounty program...
I can't predict the best NFT at this time. I still have doubts about the concept and still have to continue to study it.

I suggest Lost Relics blockchain game's items. So far this is the best blockchain game I have ever seen (it actually has a real gameplay, not just default cards games) which has been growing in users number very fast on the last weeks. The game is similar to Runescape (MMORPG) where you level up your character, fight enemies and train skills. It works in Enjin platform.
Yes, or almost similar to Diablo gameplay too.
I loved playing it for a while but their maintenance is taking too long.
I guess they are trying their best to make the game better and not just for profits.

It could go long term if ever they will try to make the game F2Play accommodating to have harvesters in game.  Grin
I suggest the same. Lost Relics blockchin items. Use it in game and get your ROI back then profits later.
Check it later, the game is expected to be online soon, today or tomorrow. There is going to be an easter event with special unique rewards. There are many whales buying games' items already and it is overloading the payment system at Paypal (as gas fees are too expensive, purchases were allowed via Paypal), furthermore the number of users increased a lot recently, also overloading the game.

An update was necessary and as the game's creator works by himself it takes several days.

Ownership of the Beeple NFT is still certified on the Ethereum blockchain, which is all that really matters. But that is a thing nowadays: NFTs can be used to infer all sorts of ownership rights, pretty much anything from art to in-game items to music. I expect more use cases will follow.

The NFT industry is still in its infancy. We're currently in the hype cycle, so it's normal for scams to appear like there's no tomorrow. Real use cases will be seen after the NFT craze comes to an end. My guess is that NFTs will be used heavily for in-game items and ownership rights. This brings real value to the Blockchain (unlike digital art/paintings). It's why I've been deeply focused on buying and "hodling" in-game items like CryptoKitties and real estate on Decentraland than anything else. The latter is a great investment choice for anyone looking to make money in the long term.

Nonetheless, the number of legitimate NFTs on the crypto/Blockchain space is extremely low. We might be able to see greater choices once the industry matures in the future. Whenever the NFT's fate will be the same as ICOs, it's yet to be seen. Governments could impose heavy-handed regulations in order to stifle the growth of the industry as we speak. If that happens, NFTs won't be able to gain much traction in the mainstream world. They may turn into a failed experiment that will slowly fade into oblivion. Who knows what will happen in the future in the highly-uncertain world of crypto? Just my thoughts Grin

Real use cases will be seen after the NFT craze comes to an end. My guess is that NFTs will be used heavily for in-game items and ownership rights. This brings real value to the Blockchain (unlike digital art/paintings).

WAX was initially created with in-game items in mind (specifically skins), but they found that using Ethereum simply wasn't practical as nobody is going to trade a $2 item with a $1 transaction fee (these days its $20). So they forked the EOS blockchain and repurposed it with NFTs in mind.

Over the last year I've watched a few daring physical collectors cross over into the NFT space, starting with Topps launching the Garbage Pail Kids series on WAX. Most diehard GPK collectors could care less, but there is a certain percentage drawn toward the idea of digital collectibles.

This market will be amplified significantly when Topps releases their baseball cards, as that is a huge audience. Previous Topps Digital releases sell out in minutes. The demand is there.

But on top of all this, I do believe the NFT market in general is in a bubble. When it will pop, nobody really knows. After that point, we'll see which NFT-related business was meant to survive.

I think that meme coins will have a great success and banano is a very interesting project that continues to grow in its popularity... a few months ago it started presenting NFT cards on the WAX blockchain and that collection I think will be very interesting.

Enjin Market Place has a lot of in-games nft items for sell that will also appreciate in value overtime, I found this Market place very useful to pick up some in-games items when necessary, I also have some collectibles I have been holding since 2019 but now that nft seems to be the hottest trend I guess I can still hold on to them for a more juicy price.

The OP is not asking for the marketplace for NFT but rather the best NFT to invest in like crypto kitties and so on.

I believe those rugs to riches story especially the guy who sell a million dollar that bought for a cheap price is bit shady. But if it's true, its a 1 in a million chance to have that opportunity. You need to invest money on it to get the rarest NFT on the market even if its new release.

Better to invest in nft base project than nft itself, because to me this projects and their tokens has more chances of growth and development than just buying the nft, I could be wrong since I don't know much about this nft much, but from what I heard most are base on auction which gives the nft a value that is not worth the art,
what if after winning the auction and pay so high price then when it is time to resell nobody wants to buy up to the auction price!.

Are digital art NFT that useful? To me the answer is a NO, I'd rather invest on in-game NFT projects, they are more useful for gaming and that will surely drive adoption too, NFT is best for crypto gaming and I don't see anything coming close to this right now, for this bull market I'm holding crypto kitties, ENJ, and Decentraland (Mana)

Any help, suggestions, and/or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Axie infinity, I suppose the best choice with big and solid community. Make your own fighter with combination some skill and sell it on the marketplace with high price, It's one of the most used NFT Today. Beside that in case you want to make your own NFT Maybe try to make an digital art like rendered Bitcoin logo, In the future maybe making some limited card like Baseball or Football, Your choice.

cryptokitty as nft ? who would have thought that .
if the name nft didnt boom ,
cryptokitty will be forgotten but it had a hyped before and now its hype can come back again because cryptokitty is more affordable than most nft's that are being sold in the market today which cost millions  .
im afraid that someone will join this trend and creates low quality or worst scam nft to attract budget investors .

Paint Murall recently did some airdrop, although I was not eligible for the airdrop, had to buy with some hundreds  of dollars, nevertheless is been declining in price, will just hold and see how they execute their road map. Have some $PET and $Weapon. These are just kind of cheap compared to others already very expensive.
