Elon Musk it is, but you have to think that not all personalities like Elon can influence the market in a positive way, even a simply tweet from whale alert about a huge bitcoin move could shake up the price or somewhat create FUD.

This has got me thinking; if we all collectively pick a day or a period of time and all agree to tweet, post and create a trend about bitcoin that will last a while on twitter or any other social media platform, will this help the current price of bitcoin get to a higher ATH?

We are in a bullish market, regardless, we are going to hit ATH sooner than expected. You just need to be patience and not rush to see the price going parabolic because what happen next could be a flash crash.

We won't affect the market price that much , since there would be a matter of agreement and at the same time do you think this would be seen in a good light by other people?
If rich and already successful people does this it's considered their tactics and then people laugh but if common people try and do this they will have a huge backlash from the market eventually the people will start seeing Bitcoins in a bad light. I did not see people actually taking an action against Elon Musk for time and again influencing Bitcoins and other ATH but I do think that the government for sure take an action against all the people involved in such things.
Well something like that did happen in India if I remember correctly and people were close to getting charged I really don't know much about it. But then again the point is : will it be really seen in a good light by other people ?

Isn't this more dangerous? because if there's people who is trying to actually help promote Bitcoin, then there's people who will take advantage of it. Let's just say that those top individuals, like Elon Musk, and most people who support Bitcoin tweet or promote Bitcoin at the same time then I'm sure there's going to be an artificial pump from people who got FOMOed or people who doesn't know Bitcoin. I'm sure there's going to be a massive dumping after that that will become a backlash to spread negative opinion about Bitcoin and negative opinions about those top individuals.

You will end up buying on someone's position so what happen next? guess you will end up bag holding and left worried about when the possible pump, we already seen this from pump and dump group so better trade individually rather than looking forward to make this thought happen. Such idea will not be possible to work for the reason that not all people fall into such things concerning other people to tag along into what is trending into just a group of individuals talking about cryptocurrency for the fact that there are lots of people talking about cryptocurrency on different social media platforms making it just a normal day and such thing will not have a big effect into Bitcoin. The reason why those tweets from big personalities affect the market is because of big movements done due to the power of influence of such individual affecting other people's belief to tag along with the trend. But creating groups trying to recreate such trend will not work as you think it is. Also, that will not be a long term solution people manipulating the market in groups. The influencer are really helpful for the bitcoin to pump because they tweeted a lot of positive information about bitcoin and the people who following them for sure most of them are invested to this coin and because there is a lot of famous people are advertise the bitcoin so it will become trends world wide and because also the price of it why it will turn popular. But remember those people who help the bitcoin value to rise it also possible to gives mis information to their followers that can cause dumping value.

And also, promotion in social media alone will not help bitcoin. Such kind of promotion is just short term. Why not, contribute in its usage. If you do own a business, whether a small or big one, you can integrate crypto or btc as your payment method. In this way, you are helping the adoption of btc in the payment system. Because promotion in social media is not a sustainable one. There are better ways to support btc. You can also help other newcomers to understand more about crypto. Educate them on what you know all about crypto. Sometimes, education is more than enough for other people to support a new technology.

I believe I've seen a similar of this post before @OP, not the same but carries similar contest to it and I'll be so glad to tell you that, it ain't going to work. Nope, it won't! Trying to make a pump and dump through twitter groups won't work so well as to influence bitcoin price.

It can impact price on very small local exchanges but it can not have small effects on big and global exchanges. Global exchanges have superb big volume and a small group can not change the price. Not to mention the participants in those groups are not bitcoin whales. They are retail investors or inexperienced traders only.

Those top individuals you’re talking about like EM are special after all, and we little and ordinary people can’t compare to someone who has about 50 million followers and hundreds of billions of dollars. Such people are influential precisely because of these things, and have an army of blind followers who respond to their every word - and thanks to the digital age they can create a bad or good effect within minutes.

They tweet and readers / followers of their tweets have own responsibilities to extrapolate their tweet meanings. Like this classic image

No matter what anyone thinks of such people, it's certainly better to have them on your side than against yourself - and how much it helps or doesn't help Bitcoin time will tell. If you want to help Bitcoin, use every opportunity to explain to people what it's really about - you have the opportunity to do it every day on this forum or in real life.

I see their tweets are funny and can cause ups and downs on the market in short term. In the long term, real effects will come from real capital and investments such as institutional investments that have lasted since 2020.

It's true that if we want to help Bitcoin, we don't have to promote it through social media, but more effectively by using it as payment.
If we have merchants accepting Bitcoin payments is something that really helps Bitcoin to be more useful. Unfortunately I don't have
any merchants, so what I can do to help Bitcoin is by educating others who don't really understand Bitcoin. Usually I start educating people
around me to understand Bitcoin better, even though it's not easy to do that. Because it sometimes takes a long process to convince others

You're absolutely wrong with this because we are just a small investor and we can't really hardly affect the market if we just want to do it.

Those high profile personality or big investors can only hardly affect the price of bitcoin in the market. They can control the volume and the hype if they all make actions at the same time. Also don't rely on Twitter because there are also false reports or fake news that you can get there due to scammers.

Always observe the market and be mindful and ready when the price extremely increase it is up to you if you will do something when that happens.

That is if you know where to find one because most of this groups that you are trying to patronize sometimes are in it for the quick cash grab from the people that will be joining their group for nothing which should have been obvious in the start. Also following a certain person should have the criteria that they are active and interacts with their followers because if not then there is a low chance that they are going to sway the market.

We dont need hype on where those so called analyst or popular people or influencers in the net do say up some words about bitcoin with just basing with mere speculation or just opinion.
It cant really be denied that this market is really highly reactive when it comes to news and sentiments thats why when such things been popped out in the market then majority do mostly
include these into their analysis for some possible price shift or whatsoever.Sometimes it doesnt really make any effect at all which it really make even more unpredictable.
We dont need hype as i said earlier, what we do need is actual recognition and adoption if we do really aim for more possible ATH's in the future.
