This is completely true, I have witnessed bitcoin price cycles since nearly 2014, at that time I was watching Bitcoin remotely and I remember its price when I learned about it was about  700$, and every time when I saw the price of Bitcoin I was surprised, but when the price of Bitcoin exceeded  3000$, then I knew that there was something unusual Happening and decided to enter the bitcoin world.
Many people who watched the beginnings of bitcoin now regret most of their regret because they did not buy bitcoin at the time and keep it until now, also people at this time will regret it in the coming years if they do not buy bitcoin now.

There will be several of those kinds of people where they regret when the price is up but won't do anything when Bitcoin's price goes down. They actually don't do any action or maybe they are just afraid of entering the market because they are risking their money which happens to several people who have entered the market only to experience a loss. IMO its never too late to enter the market as long as you are prepared to do a trade and take advantage of every price action, this might be something hard for a lot of people but if they want to enter the market at this point this is something they need to do.

Many will regret especially those close friends that we have talked a lot and even told the story of our bitcoin journey, personally. But at the end, they have just ignored it. Not all would really be ending up with that kind of mindset and not all would really be having the capacity to do so.You would really be needing that kind of
dedication towards crypto investment if you do like to survive all the anxiety that you can possibly experience when you do deal with these type of investment.
Stories of regrets and and those common words then this is been flooding the market every now and then when situations like bitcoin did reach a particular price point.
Lots do missed out that train but doesnt mean that it is already late for you to join the bandwagon.It is indeed the peak havent known yet which means
that we could still experience profitability.

Sometimes I am confused by people who are still hesitant to invest in Bitcoin,  even though there is already a lot of evidence that the Bitcoin

I think in some cases people know they should buy bitcoins right now despite the currently price, but at same time they don't have spare money to give themselves the luxury of risking money, as it may be necessary later for daily expenses. If bitcoin keeps rising it's good they will have a nice profit, but if bitcoin enters a bearish market they will have to wait a long time before seeing that money again (until a new bull run begins).

LOL, this is pretty funny, because I see this very often when the price of bitcoin is going up really high. there are so many who want to buy bitcoin, even re-studying crypto again to get that moment. however, to get that moment, I think they need to buy crypto assets little by little, and don't care about the situation. we don't know when the bitcoin price goes up again.

So basically back in 2015 when it was like $200 and in 2018 when it was $3500, I told these people that "everybody is fearful... might be time to buy" and there was always some excuse. Like in 2015 I remember people were saying "I will buy at $100 instead of $200" and during Nov 2018 crash they said "I will buy 3 digit bitcoin instead of buying it at $3500" and we all know what happens next. Some of these people ended up buying the top years later.

Yeah, the thing is they don't know Bitcoin would grow this much big. I bet every time Bitcoin enters the bear market people who don't have strong resolve losing their competence or taking a break from it, this makes them lose the opportunity to buy at a cheap price. Now that Bitcoin showing great performance, the price is surging up that when that thought came in for them like "I should have bought Bitcoin earlier". But I don't think it is too late to go in because Bitcoin tends to grow even bigger as time goes by so why not do it now, pretty sure we're not yet at the peak so you would still be able to take profit.

There are time I feel the regret of not buying Bitcoin at the early stage, its hard to accept but we have to move on and to look forward with Bitcoin.

Market is full of speculation and price predictions that seems very high, but taking into consideration the previous market cycle it looks like a possible value to be reached. Every user have the same mind, I could've bought earlier. Past is past, and now its time to act without delay. Maybe tomorrow you'll think of the same, we missed it again. What do you think is the percentage of people who are willing to wait 4-5 years to profit from something? I would conclude from personal experience and experience from this forum that it is not more than 25%, but even some of them have a problem - because after so much time they fail to find a seed, private key or password to access funds.

If we look at what the remaining 75% consists of, it's mostly the impatient ones who don't know what they're actually doing and find themselves in trouble very quickly - they lose their backup or become victims of phishing probably within 1 year. Of course, we should not forget the weak hands, because they are in a panic when prices go down by only 10%, and we know how convincing the mainstream media is when it comes to expanding FUD at the speed of light.


I would say that it is not only a problem when someone invested in Bitcoin, but that an even bigger problem is that many did not take it seriously until the end of 2017 - and even then everything went even more in the direction of profit, and less and less in what Bitcoin was actually invented for.

haha, reminds me of my coworker. In early 2019 I got a payout cuz the startup I worked at sold to a big company, I paid off loans with a third of it and then put the other two-thirds into Bitcoin, and put all my money from my paychecks at the new company into Bitcoin for the first couple months. So I LOADED UP at an average price of about $3500, cuz it was very obviously the bottom. Anyway, I told my coworker he should get in now and he said "I'll buy if it crashes again". I was like WTH?! It had just crashed the typical 80+% over a year, clearly ranging at the bottom of the market, and he said he'd only buy if there was another full blown crash on top of the current full blown crash! Some people just don't "get" bitcoin (or investing in general) so even though they always wish they bought in previously they always have an excuse why not to buy in at any given point: it just crashed so it'll crash more, or it's gone up I'll wait for it to crash, or it's at an ATH so it's a bubble I'll buy after the next crash (which leads back to the first excuse).

Reminds me also of my sister in law. In December I was trying to convince her and my brother to set aside stock investing for the time being and put a bunch in Bitcoin. My brother has a bit of Bitcoin but is only "allowed" a small amount of their income to make his own investing decisions, so most of what he has is from what he bought in 2017 and had only sold some of it. So, this is when the price was like $23k that I was trying to convince her. She said they can buy some if the price goes lower, and no doubt if it did go lower she would have had another excuse not to buy! She's reading books about investing to increase their portfolio, and meanwhile refuses to put any money in what has proven to be not just the best investment of the past decade but the best investment literally of all time, with no signs of slowing down! And it's not like she doesn't know anyone in crypto, literally her brother in law (me!) is now retired off of Bitcoin, so she has a family member to help her get educated on Bitcoin, and even her own husband knows some stuff about Bitcoin and puts a little money into it! Yet she just won't listen!

These are the type of people who will only buy Bitcoin once it is fully mainstream. They'll probably make their first Bitcoin buy when it's at like close to a million dollars.

I do agree that people are sad that they missed out on bitcoin, that's true. However let's not act like buying bitcoin today and buying bitcoin nearly 10 years ago are the same thing. If you bought 1000 dollars worth of bitcoin at 30 dollars each, you would have 300 bitcoins, that would be around 16 million dollars today if you did. If you buy 1000 dollars worth of bitcoin today, in order for it to worth 16 million dollars that would need to be something like 80 million dollars per bitcoin if my math is right.

So, we all know that we are way too late for making profits like that, people are sad that they missed on that chance and we are never going to have that chance. It's true that if you buy bitcoin right now and wait until it is higher you could make money, but we are not going to make profits like we did back in the day, we ain't getting that 500x return type of stuff ever again.
