Looking on its Historical Data and yeah, its crazy to see such price pump today and something is going on for sure.
I just see that DREP has done Redomination and maybe this explain why the price changes that fast or maybe there's something more good news on-going with this project, there's up-coming updates in April with DREP, will look for more information about this one.

I just found out that they are reducing their tokens by a factor of 100, which is why the price has gone up so much. Binance has stopped trading and will support the exchange. Anytime i see a price rise like that their is something sneaky going on.  If any of the exchanges are still trading it id steer clear or it will be you holding the bag probably.

Look  at the trading volume even after that bump which is $275K so its just a dust amount for a whale to an random play and I wouldn't consider this bump is a sign of investment, if anyone having that coin just dump it right away without any second thought.

Today appears good for altcoins. DREP flying so high is suspicious though. I guess the time has come for pump and dump. The whales are at work as it was in 2017. Altcoins are beginning to rally and we are going to see more volatility in weeks to come. I expect that DREP will have a kind of stop at a point.

This is not only happening with drep, as far as i know if kimchi finance was getting a very big increase that more than 10000% at this moment and that's only trading on the gate.io.
It seems like that gateio becomes the next pump and dump exchange site.
Im actively using gateio and this site can be trusted and reliable. It looks like a real pump that happened with some garbage coins.

That’s not an April fools joke because its their latest update and not a real 6000% of pump. Though it places on top 20 coins/tokens in CMC which make this project more valuable. The Binance exchange paused the trading for a while because of the update while the gateio already updated DREP with its new ratios and a new price.

Nothing to be surprised at all after seeing this. SO when the coin swapped 100:1 ratio then the normal price would be 100x from current price. that means 0.02*100=2$. and now it is trading around 2-3$ which is normal IMO.
