I remember the pancakeswap incident recently where they got DNS hijacked using DDoS attack and was replaced by a phishing site, prompting for seed phrase of user's wallets. This fake websites are common as PCS was just a fork and even some platforms does really looks like PCS. I wouldn't really be shocked when there would be more fake PCS websites that would arise soon, as the price of CAKE itself increases.

Also, AFAIK, there can be other ways that this kind of fake swaps can steal money like they can let people they are sending and swapping coins, yet they would only send it to a static address.

True, Pancakeswap has slowly making some noise and gaining the attention of specially of newbies.

And that's why criminals are now targeting them as well building fake websites to trap these beginners. Not just because you found it on Google Search doesn't mean they are true and legit. Check everything, spelling, domain names. In short, we need to be very careful and not just entering our seeds or mnemonic phrase.

Well it appeared at the time of the DNS attack which caused a little problem at that time but the PCS team had made sure that the user's data was safe if they weren't wrong in their steps, with the DDOS attack it was clear that the scamers would continue to attack and make phishing sites according to their target whatever. that we have to do is very careful.

Maybe almost as easy as the popular DEX now has become the target of their phishing even every time I see so many reports in this accusation thread.

Thank you. it is advanced Phishing website. Many members have not used PancakeSwap and when they decide to switch from Uniswap they are using 1Inch or PancakeSwap.  it is easy to fall into scam and believe that the real link is .com website.
It is best to report this link to PancakeSwap it is a real Phishing case and they should spend some time to stop it.
