My wager on the Texas Rangers to win the World Series @ 1.65 is looking good right now; with current odds @ 1.09  
They have a commanding 3-1 lead and hopefully close out the World Series tonight @ 1.93

Eventhough I had a bet on Arizona, I decided to pick Texas to win before the final series on BSFL   . I guess its a good way to hedge huh and considering that you are an expert in MLB also picked the same answers, puts me at ease  . For some reason I cant login onto the site ( ever since they changed the login page, its just getting harder to login for me as I kept getting logged out for some reason ), I would love to bet on the money line odds on sportsbet for this and get that super boost odds

Also, I didn't know this but it's also their maiden WS -- I'll be on the lookout now for pre-season odds on the remaining teams (Seattle, Milwaukee, San Diego, Colorado, Tampa Bay) who've never won it before, or is that wishful thinking?

Looking at stats without even understanding, Tampa Bay looked really impressive just shy of 100 wins in the season (Rangers only had 90, Arizona only 84!). BoSox always gets my nostalgic pick, they're getting a new manager yeah?

Texas looked better in this series, but last night was a bit trickyy final result doesn't reflect what happened throughout the match

Congratulations OP, also those who achieved the corresponding "crosses," and they worked, in my case, I was going for the Rangers for the championship but in game 7.

So, for game 5 and the hypothetical game 6 my bets would go with Arizona, whatever, the post season went badly for me.

To question above, Casper, in fact it is the first title for the Texas Rangers and not only that, the MLB formula works with its wild card idea, it was a world series with two of the worst of the best teams. 

In other words, the opportunity to win a World Series title is not necessarily contested by the best teams of the season.

Must have read it wrong before... I see now that it's the chief baseball officer who's going to get a new face. Now I'm looking, 30/1 doesn't really sound so attractive, to be honest, but I'll hit it if it gets to 50/1.

@casperBGD @famososMuertos I like this wild card concept for sure, it's really the type of format that I prefer, giving a chance for underdogs and giving great value to my style of outrights. As I mentioned earlier, the winner had rather worse winning percentages than others. I know there are big arguments for rewarding consistency but wild cards amp up the randomness -- me likey.
