I’m not sure about any of the matches... If I analyze this as a bettor, I’m completely undecided. But as a fan, I'm absolutely certain we’ll see another NYY-LA final.

Great news! The World Series starts on Friday... However, we must talk about what is considered by many the greatest performance by an athlete in any sport. It’s certainly debatable when compared to other great performances.

If you don't follow MLB, you might not fully grasp it, but any self-respecting sports fan knows the greatest single-game performance in baseball history.

There are some good discussions about this these days with my friends, but I'm posting it here on the forum. How would it compare to other sports?

It's the equivalent of a goalkeeper earning a shutout in the first half (saving a penalty, no less), and then playing the second half as a forward and scoring a hat-trick (three goals).

As everyone understands football, they know how difficult that is. Well, that’s the magnitude of Ohtani's performance: he kept the opposing team scoreless until the 6th inning, and not only did he strike out 10 (which is an exceptional performance in itself), but as if that weren't enough, he came out as a batter and hit 3 HR (Home Runs).

What do you think?

Oh, BTW that's the guy who plays for the LADs.

Shohei is now the GOAT of MLB considering what he achieved. He made 3hr and 10 SO on a single game which we can only see on anime which has exaggerated narrative like Major anime.

I’m happy to witness his greatness on our era. I was rooting for the Mariners but they are down so I might be riding the LAD on this WS.

Blue Jays is an underrated team so I will not be surprised if LAD will have a hard time beating this team.

Haha. My mind is itching to support Blue Jays but my hate to them apis greater by beating my team so I do the bandwagon this time on their enemy.

Honestly, Jays is so persistent and until now I believe that they might take down LAD on a best 7 series considering how good they are on overcoming 2-0 lead by Seattle.

They are so good even when they are on the tight spot.

Honestly, Jays is so persistent and until now I believe that they might take down LAD on a best 7 series considering how good they are on overcoming 2-0 lead by Seattle.

They are so good even when they are on the tight spot.

Haha I do the same when someone beats my team too so I know the feeling, Jays have this grit that I can't seem to grasp every time they are down they find a way to get out of the slump. Our Bullpen isn't the greatest at times but our offence and starting pitching have been good this postseason, the starter tomorrow Yesavage is really a savage so far and the fact they trust him to open the series is HUGE. Can't wait till tomorrow night its gonna be really exciting for sure.

Thanks bro the Jays have this grit and resilience that has been unmatched so far, I'm expecting Dodgers to rally but the way the Jays have been playing it is gonna be tough.
We wear down pitchers really good and have good plate discipline on top of that but if we take game 2 that will be awesome.

I have to confess I had a conflicting bet ready and was about to sell out my fanaticism just to secure the win, but I ended up choosing the LADs. It was a horrible defeat. It wasn't simply that they lost; it felt like it was their ego that took the real beating.
