Hi guys ok you're gonna think i'm little bit crazy , but something like 10 years ago i was lookin for bitcoin info , and i'm remembering a paper where it was explain that the first utility was the destroying of the economy but seem to disapear from internet ...
but how ?
Imagine that our Satoshi Nakamoto, unknow ,1 million or more btc on his account and imagine that represent something like 50 % of total bitcoin supply ( it's theroical number with no proof just imagine ^^) . Ok now go in the futur something like 20 year from now , a world where all bitcoin value is more than reel money value on earth or if the only one money remaining left at this time is bitcoin . If our mister Satoshi withdraw his 50% or more of bitcoin from his account the bitcoin gonna crash like never ! if our economy is directly link to this gonna crash with it too !
and how start the 3th ( of 4th ) world war because , money get no value anymore , rich people and poor people will be equal to each other , only vital resources get value and world could be destroy if it's every man for himself . that's the worlds end like we know today and maybe earth will be no livable + energy eating of BTC . continue to imagine ! So we get an earth no livable

Now take our crazy elon musk . His first purpose is to go live in space . And he make the better advert for bitcoin i've ever seen . Like when he tweet on crypto he goes like up or down that's a real fact . so it gonna help in the 20 years futur that raise bitcoin more than the moon ( lol ) and take the first place in our economy .

So now , we know , he say that he think that earth will be no livable in the futur and the only one solution : Space , they were an article some month ago where he had sell all his property and sayin that's not usefull in the space .  Now , how to force people to make Space X the only one business needed in the futur ? make earth is not livable anymore ! like every SF Book, human go in the space to save a part of humanity .If the only one solution is to go in space , Elon musk will be something more like the savior of humanity ! Now the worst part will be that elon musk = Satoshi and it's possible there are somes clues going that way !

( like satoshi wasn t japanese like he said cause his english were perfect and he write in British english and japanese learn American english at school , when you analyse the modification of sourceforge you can see his activity time , we think that he were living on the usa time zone but Elon musk lived his childoud in South Africa . South africa is an ancien UK colony so we speak British english there ^^ and after he goes to canada then to USA  same time zone ^^ there are more clue )

In that case , one of his company destroy earth the orther one is the savior and Satoshi+Elon+Tesla+Space X Bitcoin possession , if he wait some year, bitcoin gonna be the most valuable things on earth or maybe the only things valuable on earth , and with 3 mouse clicking , withdraw or distribute to everyone that gonna vanished the wall economy and the world by itself xD So how Elon Musk Become a god on earth .

What do I think of your "crazy" conspiracy? Crazy. I'm kidding, although it is a little crazy, however I've definitely seen more far fetched conspiracies when it comes to Satoshi being x person. You'd probably consider Elon to be in a similar type of industry I guess, and he does have the brain for it. Although, I definitely don't agree with your conspiracy for many reasons, but I won't go into that.

However, I'd like to bring up the fact that Satoshi used British dialect within his writing. As far as I can remember, he actually switched between American, and British writing patterns, which would suggest that Satoshi was actually aware of their writing style, and therefore changed it or Satoshi isn't a singular entity, and instead consists of multiple people i.e a group.

I'm not sure what you mean by destroying the economy, but I think you are trying to say that Bitcoin was implemented to bring down the current money systems, but further than that; Satoshi purposely is hoarding his Bitcoin, to keep a certain share of the market to effectively crash Bitcoin, and destroy everything we've come to know as "money". This would be somewhat plausible, if the idea wasn't flawed. It would probably make a good money, but the idea of it is flawed. We as a civilization have become money oriented, and even if we were to destroy everything that could be considered money (which we can't) it would still rear its head sooner rather than later. We have simply relied on money for so long, even if it was destroyed, new systems with similar functions would soon return.

So, bearing this in mind lets assume  that Satoshi is keeping their Bitcoin stored to crash the Bitcoin market in an attempt to eradicate any sort of money system, including Bitcoin. Then, all of this hard work of creating a decentralized currency would have been for nothing, because you know for sure the powers of the world would create a centralized currency, rather than a decentralized when it comes to resurrecting the concept of money.

Satoshi holds an estimated 5% of all the bitcoins, not 50%, and that assumes that they are not lost.

So, there's no way a native Japanese would get a scholarship in Great Britain and learn English there? There's no way someone who learned American English as a child but then worked for 20 years in the UK would switch to using British English, right?

This thread is going to be filled with posts picking holes in your theories.

Even if Satoshi had 50% of the supply of Bitcoin, as soon as he/she/they start selling
the price would initially drop but eventually as the price gets lower and lower there
would be greater buy pressure. price normalises and the big sell off only happens once.

This is right. I dont know why OP is bit insisting the idea about Satoshi. For all the explanation above it's clear that Satoshi Goals is truly to give people something of a freedom to transact and freely move money. While others capitalist view this as some sort of business and future on trading capabilities. Anyway if Satoshi does have some sort of control on major percentage of some bitcoin then I'm sure he will use that in a good way on which people could learn that his tech is more than just a pump and dump coin.

The OP idea is not feasible. The global economy will not collapse, if only because Bitcoin will never be the only money in the world. Even if peace came to the world and the states lived together and without wars, they would never give up their national money and would not accept bitcoin as the only world currency. Moreover, this will not happen if the states continue to conflict with each other, or at least conduct economic rivalry.
If we assume that Satoshi owns more than one million bitcoins, about 19 million of them were mined, about 8 million were lost, then Satoshi owns no more than ten percent of the bitcoins in circulation. It's not that much.

It is not disappeared from the internet, if you do a quick search you can see that the internet is filled with this particular FUD starting from the early years and it is only growing in spread and in ridiculousness.

The "first utility" of bitcoin is to act as a decentralized currency and it has been doing that when it was worth $0.00001 and it is still doing it when it is worth nearly $60000 and it will do it when it is worth $10000000000.

Satoshi holds an estimated 5% of all the bitcoins, not 50%, and that assumes that they are not lost.

Also it assumes that the guess was correct and pretty much only 1 person (ie. Satoshi) was mining bitcoin for nearly a year whereas we know that is wrong since many others were mining at the same time.
