How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k?

Day by day, Bitcoin is getting closer towards crossing the $60k range. The pioneer cryptocurrency has grown in popularity over the past years, becoming an extremely valuable asset that often compares itself to Gold. With Elon Musk, and some companies like PayPal and VISA joining the game, it shouldn't be long enough before BTC reaches new heights. Some experts predict that Bitcoin could go as high as $100k by the end of the year. Others predict that Bitcoin will reach $1m within a couple of years from now.

The question is, how fast will Bitcoin reach $100k? Will the ever-rising demand from mainstream companies and institutional investors make Bitcoin reach this goal in less than a year? Or will it take longer? Given that Bitcoin has reached $60k within a year, looks likely it'll reach $100k by the end of 2021. For what I know, everything is just pure speculation. It's always best to reap profits whenever you see the opportunity to do so before it's too late. If you end up waiting for BTC to reach a new ATH, you might lose it all in an instant.

Right now we are moving in the 55k to 60k range and it seems that not much its is happening, but the fact the price can remain at the current levels for so long is a good sign, to me it seems we could reach that price at the latest by the end of this year, however I am not so sure we could remain there for long as it is a going to be a very strong psychological barrier so it is possible that ATH may last just a few minutes and then the price begins to go down immediately after it.

First of all, I want to say, everything is possible in crypto at any time. So exactly we can't predict that when it will touch $100K. But, we have noticed a couple of institutional investors enter on Bitcoin world and as a result, Bitcoin is playing above $60K. So, as you said more instinctual investors could make it happen even within a month as well. The past institutional investors aren't accumulating more, which means we need more. We didn't imagine a few months back that Bitcoin would reach that zone within this short time. I think the same would repeat once more new institutional investors accumulate more Bitcoin.

Its a slow phase making it look stable in 55k to 60k range. Its taking its time to break the $60K while altcoins are also catching up with this bull market.
Reaching up $100K at the end of the year is possible. There could be a lot of dumping before it could reach that point, there had been speculations that it could go beyond that while more of the institutions starts using BTC.

Just for fun prediction, maybe if things are still the same with all of those good news, adoptions, and the same market movement on this bull run. 6 months would be the safe assumption for bitcoin to reach $100k. But that's just my opinion because no one can really get the most accurate prediction and motion of bitcoin in terms of guessing the correct price with its nature of being very volatile.

And just as human nature when we're done hitting $100k, what would be the next trend? Predictions that will surprise those people who still doubt bitcoin and numbers that would reach a million dollars.

With many people believing in the btc market, I don't think btc will hit 100K this year. After this week there was a strong Dump and a recovery. BTC's ATH is accumulating and the next milestone is 72k-80k. I think this year btc only hit 90-93k and then strong Dump again BTC

I think Bitcoin is not finished with its mission, most likely a bigger explosion is getting closer, lots of people are saying the same thing outside the forum, Bitcoin will hit $ 100k this year.

Usually when people talk about something about Bitcoin in the future, it will happen, like people talking about halvings, prices, etc.
I think there will be something unexpected happening to Bitcoin in the future, $ 100k will likely be close.

I believe that reaching $100k is going to actually be very quick as the demand has been massive so far and the rise is not even close to what bitcoin used to have (10000% less that last time!!!) so there is still a lot of room to grow and the FOMO is very strong in bitcoin when price goes above certain price levels.
Also considering the fact that I believe bitcoin will reach at least $400k this year, the $100k target should not be that difficult to reach.

I don't know about the speed but I'm sure it will reach $100k this year. There are so many factors involved that make it almost impossible to guess when it will do so, but in 2-3 months I see it as plausible. What I also believe is that when we get close to that figure, it will be hard to beat it. We have been having resistances in the round numbers, $30k, $50k, $60k. It is quite likely that there is going to be a big resistance at $100k.

What I think.. is that we should be freakin patient. Because the last thing we would want is a really quick candle up to $100k, which is a lot more likely to have a big correction compared to having a slow months-long rise up.

I guess it's gonna happen by the end of the year. I don't think right now btc is gonna get out of 55-60k range.

I would be conservative and estimate that it will reach 100k at around 3 to 4 months, the reason for that is that there is some resistance points that takes months to break like the 20k resistance and the 40k resistance and now the 60k resistance, I wouldn't want it to reach that price in those months though as I plan to buy some bitcoin and I want to get more value out of the money that I am putting in.

I don't care about WHEN will the Bitcoin price reach 100K.This will happen for sure.There's no doubt about it.
I don't mind if it happens next month or after 2 years.What is more important is the long term sustainability of such price growth.Will it be a price bubble that will burst in a few days,or it will be a stable process,followed by mass crypto adoption around the world?

I believe that it would reach $100K when another big platform would integrate it within their system OR some government would study it and try to integrate it within their national system. This different establishments are not enough to make Bitcoin reach that ATH but we really need to see more Bitcoin adoption because seeing how it can make our lives easier, its really a great application within the Financial Technology Industry.

You are right about the part about platform but I don't think that right now, it is possible for a country to entirely integrate bitcoin, maybe small countries like Panama, Virgin Islands, Curacao, or other tax evasion hub countries might be able to do it.

Yeah it is a struggle to get past 60k, so from that I think we'll need to wait a bit more.
It could be either like 2018 wherein we'll get a crash after it stabilized a lot from 7k or we might be off to another burst increase just like how it even exceeded my expectation to just breach a little bit from 20k.

The words "tax evasion" should not be taken lightly though. The government runs on the money from the person living on it - that is the point of taxation. Pretty sure the companies running there are on surveillance but not enforced since they are registered there.

The more people attempt to use bitcoin as a tax-safe haven the more crackdown from governments and non-lenience from them towards bitcoin. Such a stance is selfish from the perspective of others who are not into bitcoin yet, maybe willing to.

Price will defenitely rise but one bad thing that is noticable is that only big names like Musk will not do the game. More people from different sectors need to push their governments to start accepting it then only we can reach 100k USD/BTC price.

But even before that I would like to see the stable 60k holding price.

Depends on a lot of factors, if there will be another good news, like big companies being reported to invest billions on bitcoin, then it will accelerate. Maybe 3rd quarter of this year. Otherwise, we might have to wait for the market to really take it' natural course to $100k, early to mid 2022 might be the 'worst' case scenario.
